ZETATALK: THE STRETCH ZONE, THAT SINKING FEELING
ZetaTalk explores the concept of Earth's "stretch zones"—regions where tectonic plates are being pulled apart due to planetary forces, particularly in anticipation of a predicted pole shift. It focuses heavily on the eastern seaboard of the U.S., the Caribbean, and parts of Europe, warning that these areas will experience significant land subsidence due to the widening of the Atlantic Rift.
Key points include:
Historical evidence of submerged forests and civilizations off the U.S. East Coast and Bermuda.
Predictions that areas like Florida, Georgia, and the UK will lose elevation and be permanently flooded.
A detailed catalog of sinkholes, train derailments, infrastructure collapses, and mysterious odors from 2004–2005, interpreted as signs of Earth stretching.
The concept of “imploding cities”, where underground infrastructure fails due to shifting rock layers.
Warnings to relocate from vulnerable coastal and low-lying areas before the pole shift occurs.

Rhode Island Around 6:45 a.m., it was a rude awakening for the people living in the building on Bluff Avenue.
“My wife and I were asleep and we heard a huge crashing roar,” second-floor tenant Brian Wilder recalled. “Like a thousand bricks falling, which is what it was.”

Six killed in building collapse in northern Egypt | Reuters
ALEXANDRIA, Egypt (Reuters) - At least six people died when an old four-storey building collapsed in the coastal city of Alexandria in northern Egypt, local officials said on Thursday.
Authorities had issued several restoration orders for the old building, which collapsed on Wednesday evening, but they had been ignored, Alexandria province Governor Mohamed el-Sherief told reporters at the scene.
Two families were living in the building and those killed included three men and three women, officials said.
Authorities have evacuated the building next to the one that collapsed after cracks appeared, according to residents.
Building collapses are common in Egypt because of lax building standards and poor maintenance.
Floors collapse in former Hamilton Hotel in downtown Hagerstown | L...

Maryland
At least part of the first block of North Jonathan Street in downtown Hagerstown is expected to remain closed, possibly into next week, after a partial building collapse late Wednesday, Hagerstown Fire Marshal Doug DeHaven said.
No injuries had been reported as of 8 p.m. Wednesday and to fire officials' knowledge, there were no tenants or construction workers still in the building, DeHaven said.
First responders were bringing pets out and Hagerstown code enforcement officers and structural engineers were on the scene Wednesday night to inspect the interior of the northwest corner of The Aria at Hamilton Plaza, at the corner of Jonathan and West Washington streets, DeHaven said. The building is across Jonathan Street from the Washington County Administrative Complex.
The building's owner is taking care of immediate shelter needs for the 17 displaced occupants, DeHaven said.
The Humane Society of Washington County was assisting with the various animals, including dogs, cats and ferrets, that were being brought out of the building, DeHaven said.
A condemned notice was being posted on the building, he said.
Emergency crews had searched the area of the collapsed interior floors at least three times and not found anyone, Hagerstown Fire Chief Steve Lohr said earlier.
Ash Azadi, managing partner of a group that is renovating the former hotel, was on the scene. He said he believed everyone got out of the building.
DeHaven said he didn't know how many tenants were living in the building, but they would not be able to return for some time. In addition to the partial collapse inside, utilities were turned off, he said.
DeHaven said the third floor of the back corner of the U-shaped building had collapsed onto the second floor and the second into the first. The fourth floor appeared to be dangling, he said. In the early evening DeHaven said he didn't believe there were any issues with the roof, but he hadn't made it up that far.
The interior collapse affected areas near units 401, 301, 201 and what had been a Rexall drug store in the first floor, the fire chief said. One of the things the building inspector will examine is the risk of exterior walls being pushed out, he said.
Lohr said 51 first responders from the Hagerstown Fire Department, Washington County Special Operations, the Funkstown Volunteer Fire Co. and Community Rescue Service responded.
Debris from the collapsed floors was visible through windows on the North Jonathan Street side of the building. The building had been under renovation.
Construction workers were on site and were all accounted for after the collapse, DeHaven said. But he didn't know yet what type of work they were doing when the collapse occurred nor did he yet know the cause of the collapse.
The incident was reported to Washington County 911 at 4:49 p.m., a supervisor said.
Resident Linda Sowell said she was in her third-floor apartment when she heard a loud crash. Sowell said she got her robe and sneakers on and went out her apartment door to find part of the ceiling had collapsed down the hall.
She said the third and fourth floors of the four-story building have been renovated, but the second floor was still being fixed up. Those three floors are residences.
The first floor is commercial space, including The Yarn Shop.
Sowell said tenant information was being collected so the American Red Cross could provide assistance.
She did not immediately know where she was going to spend the night.
"I just hope they do right by the tenants because we moved in when we probably should not have moved in," Sowell said.
Sowell and fourth-floor resident Patrick Herbert said they both moved into the building in August.
Herbert said he didn't hear the collapse, but a flashing warning light and buzzer, part of the building's fire alarm system, went off in the apartment. He and his family got out using the stairwell. They live in the middle of the building, not near the collapsed part, he said.
Herbert said he and his fiancee had looked at renting a different unit, pointing to the fourth-floor apartment in the collapsed area.

Collapsed school building forces Delta pupils to stay at home – Pun...
Pupils of Oloduwa Primary School in the oil-rich Opuama community, Egbema Kingdom, Warri North Local Government Area of Delta State, have been compelled to stay at homes following the collapse of the main classroom building.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the structure, which collapsed following torrential downpour after school hours, had yet to be rebuilt by the government.
As a result, the pupils have been forced to abandon their academic activities due to lack of alternative classrooms.
Worried by the ugly development, youths of the community, under the aegis of the Concerned Egbema Indigenes, have raised an alarm over the condition of the pupils and have petitioned Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and other top political leaders in the state “to swing into action by rebuilding the collapsed school structure without further delay to enable the stranded pupils return to classes.”
“Due to the unpalatable occurrence, these innocent pupils of the collapsed primary school have been holed up in their parents’ houses, while other pupils enjoy their academic session,” the group lamented.
The Coordinator of the group, Silas Toruwei, called on the Commissioner for Education, Patrick Ukah, “to expedite action in making sure that a new structure is built in no time, especially before the next term.”
Another member of the group, Tanimawo Wisdom, stated, “Opuama is not just an ordinary community to be undergoing infrastructural deficit considering the huge volume of crude oil taken out of the community each day.

MAHANOY CITY – A long-abandoned and neglected building in this borough suffered another collapse today, this time sending debris into the street, and threatening to collapse further.
Emergency crews were called to 804 East Centre Street around 5:00pm Thursday for the collapse.
Crews arrived to find that a former corner store at 800-802 East Centre, the corner of 8th and Centre, had suffered another roof collapse. Much of the roof had already collapsed a few years ago.
This time, debris was in the roadway and the 8th Street-facing wall was bowing outwards.
Code Enforcement Officer Bill Killian said the owner had been cited previously for the building’s condition, and the owner had not responded to any of the citations.
According to the Schuylkill County Parcel Locator, the owner is John Davidovich, with a listed address of a PO Box in Mahanoy City.
The building was previously on a demolition list the borough, and the bids were received for the project, and three others, in July.
The project, as well as projects to demolish 728 East Market and 425 West Spruce, was tabled as a result of funding concerns.
Killian said that the next step would be for the borough to seek emergency demolition of the building.
In the meantime, the unit block of South 8th Street will be closed.
