We are seeing so many remarkable pre-announcement pieces showing up, this is a place to post and discuss them. This one for example, is making discoveries sound 'ho hum' which a few months/years ago were heralded as amazing breakthroughs. Today for example:

"Nearly Every Star Hosts at Least One Alien Planet"

When a month or so ago they were making a BIG deal about finding one planet in the sweet zone which could possibly support life, son they they say 25% of them could support life! Including mention of red dwarfs, etc. The Zeta predicted evidence continues to build up!

Here is another blog that relates, describing a wobble:

Viral video of unidentified lights off NC's Outer Banks has people questioning — aliens or military?  Posted Oct 07 2019  ==>> Fox13News

“I am pretty sure I know what those lights are," Derrick Chennault, who identified himself as a former Marine based at the 2nd Marine Air Wing in Cherry Point, North Carolina, commented on the video. The base is roughly 125 miles west of the Outer Banks.

“We used to regularly drop flares out of the back of our plane in the evenings for military exercises in that area,“ wrote Chennault. "They are one million candle power each so they were pretty bright and can be seen from far away and floated down slow as they hung from a parachute.“

While the Marine Corps Air Station is nearby and military testing is a common occurrence in the area, a spokesperson from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base located 77 miles northeast of Cherry Point confirmed that no aircraft from the Air Force base were in the area the day the video was posted.

The video has now amassed 371,600 views and the debate rages on as to what exactly the lights were.

20 new moons discovered orbiting Saturn

Saturn now has 82 moons, knocking Jupiter down to second place in the moon count.

Published: Monday, October 07, 2019

An artist’s conception of the 20 newly discovered moons orbiting Saturn.
Astronomers have found 20 new moons orbiting Saturn, bumping its total up to 82 moons. That surpasses Jupiter, which was the prior reigning champion with 79 moons.

One of the new moons has the farthest known orbit around Saturn, and all are similar in size, with diameters around three miles (5 kilometers). Two of the moons take about two years to orbit, while the other 18 take more than three years to do so.

Seventeen of the new moons orbit Saturn backward — or in retrograde — compared to the planet's other natural satellites. The retrograde moons have orbits resembling some of Saturn's other already-known moons. And by looking at their inclinations, astronomers suspect these moons could have been part of a much larger moon that broke apart long ago.

The moons were discovered by a team led by Scott S. Sheppard at the Carnegie Institution for Science and using the Subaru Telescope on Hawaii’s Mauna Kea.

By studying these small moons and their interactions with our solar system’s large planets, astronomers can answer questions about how these worlds were formed and how they’ve evolved.

Seventeen of the new moons orbit in the opposite direction of Saturn’s rotation. Each of these "retrograde" moons takes more than three years to trace out one orbit. The other three moons orbit Saturn in the same direction as the planet’s rotation. Two of these "prograde" moons take roughly two years to finish one orbit, while the third takes more than three years to go around Saturn.

Asteroid swarm: Nasa detects 16 space rocks hurtling towards Earth this week Oct 7, 2019

The largest asteroid from the group is bigger than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. According to the agency’s Centre for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), Earth will see a total of seven asteroids fly past on October 8. As noted by CNEOS, these asteroids are 2019 TU, 2019 TW1, 2019 RK, 2019 TC1, 2019 SB6, 2019 TM and 2019 TS.

These asteroids will arrive starting early on Tuesday.

Although most of these asteroids will approach Earth from very safe distances, one of them is expected to fly close to the planet.

According to CNEOS, 2019 T1 will zip past the planet from 0.00378 astronomical units or roughly 351,000 miles away, which is just slightly greater than the distance between the Earth and the Moon.

Jet-Setting Prince Harry Has Trouble ‘Getting Out Of Bed’ Because Of Climate Anxiety

Prince Harry regularly flies by private jet from one glamorous hotspot to another with his new wife Meghan Markle, but he apparently finds it “hard to get out of bed in the mornings” because he is so overwhelmed with anxiety over the current “climate crisis.”

“Harry said that he often woke up and felt overwhelmed by too many problems in the world and that sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed in the mornings because of all the issues, but he wanted to use their platform to enable grass-roots change and to try and create a better society,” South African student Peter Oki, 18, told a Daily Telegraph reporter.

Oki attended a multi-faith service with Harry and his Californian wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, during their latest jaunt to southern Africa.

As highlighted by The Daily Beast, Harry and Meghan have been tagged as hypocritical for all their hysterical climate change talk and dire climate warnings while still themselves enjoying a lavish lifestyle including the use of private jets.

Planet X might just be a bowling-ball-sized black hole, researchers say
Published time: 29 Sep, 2019

An astronomical anomaly considered by scientists to point to an as-yet-undiscovered planet may actually be a big black hole lurking deep within our solar system, according to a new theory.

Mathematical evidence for a planet, dubbed Planet Nine or Planet X by space scientists, was revealed by Caltech researchers in 2015. The strange object, they said, could have a mass some 10 times that of Earth and take up to 20,000 Earth years to complete one orbit of the Sun as it sits between 45 billion and 150 billion kilometers from our star.

However, now two physicists are suggesting that the enigmatic ‘Planet X’ isn’t a planet at all, but a planet-mass black hole, sucking in matter from its surroundings. If they’re correct, they say they will be able to find supporting evidence in the form of flashes of gamma rays, created by the interactions between dark matter particles in the halo surrounding a black hole.
And not only that, but the pair say in a paper on their theory that a black hole matching the projected mass of Planet X would be so dense it could be only the size of a bowling ball.

The researchers argue that focusing studies on the supposition that it’s a planet that’s out there seriously hampers the potential for making new discoveries.

“Once you start thinking about more exotic objects, like primordial black holes, you think in different ways,” James Unwin, one of the study’s authors and an assistant professor on theoretical particle physics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, told Gizmodo. “We advocate that rather than just looking for it in visible light, maybe look for it in gamma rays. Or cosmic rays.”

The physicists are now aiming to find crucial evidence to back their theory by searching through data from the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope for signs of those signature flashes.

Nasa chief scientist: 'We’re close to finding and announcing alien life on Mars....but is the world ready?'
The world is not prepared for the discovery of life on another planet even though it may only be a couple of years away, Nasa’s Chief Scientist has warned.

Next summer, two rovers from Nasa and the European Space Agency (ESA), will travel to Mars to drill horizontally into rocks and deep into the surface, in the hope of finding evidence of living organisms.

The missions are the best chance humanity has ever had of answering the question: ‘Are we alone in the universe?’

Exceedingly Rare:  Three Supermassive Black Holes Are About to Collide.

Three’s a Crowd

A team of NASA scientists have caught three supermassive black holes in the act of merging together, a billion light-years away from Earth.

“Dual and triple black holes are exceedingly rare,” said researcher Shobita Satyapal, from George Mason University, in a statement. “But such systems are actually a natural consequence of galaxy mergers, which we think is how galaxies grow and evolve.”

Exceedingly Rare

Satyapal’s team made the rare discovery using NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory telescope, as well as NASA’s Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer spacecraft and the Large Binocular Telescope in Arizona.

It’s an exceedingly rare sight that is unusually hard to spot thanks to giant shrouds of gas and dust surrounding the black holes. But by combining data from the two space telescopes and the Arizona-based telescope back on Earth, the scientists were able to make the discovery.

Galactic Wealth

The team published its findings in the latest issue of The Astrophysical Journal. They used optical light data from the three telescopes.

“Optical spectra contain a wealth of information about a galaxy,” said co-author Christina Manzano-King from the University of California in the statement. “They are commonly used to identify actively accreting supermassive black holes and can reflect the impact they have on the galaxies they inhabit.”

With all these NEW advances and discoveries, the probabilities are high that some day soon, NASA will finally find the elusive #Nibiru, aka #Planet_X.

Friends of Tabby’s star? Astronomers discover 21 potential ‘ALIEN megastructure’ stars   Published time: 20 Sep, 2019 09:34

The star that spawned major hype about possible ‘alien megastructures’ in recent years may, in fact, have company. A new study has found 21 stars with similar dipping properties which may unravel the mystery of ‘Tabby’s star.’

Using NASA’s Kepler space telescope, astronomer Tabetha “Tabby” Boyajian discovered instances of star KIC 8462852, slightly larger and hotter than Earth’s sun, and located roughly 1,480 light-years away in the constellation Cygnus, dimming by up to 22 percent.

The lack of satisfactory explanations as to why the star was dimming pushed astrophysicist and researcher Edward Schmidt to look for more examples of similar ‘dipping’ stars whose behavior could also be analyzed to more quickly and accurately determine the cause.

The fluctuations were erratic and yet too substantial to be explained away by planets or dust crossing in front of the star, fueling speculation that the phenomenon may have been caused by the remnants of a so-called Dyson Sphere, a megastructure built to harness the power of a star for use by a highly advanced civilization.

Schmidt was careful to note that the Northern Sky Variable Survey did not contain Boyajian’s star, so he may only have scratched the surface of potential ‘dippers’ that could help unlock the mystery of this cosmic phenomenon.

“We’re obviously missing some of these stars because of the catalogs we have,” Schmidt said. “By looking at more catalogs, we may get a better picture of what’s going on, even though it won’t be a complete picture.”

Interstellar Object Heading Towards Earth Could Be Probe Sent by Aliens – Report Sputnik 9-20-2019

A space object that was discovered by Russian scientist Gennady Borisov in August 2019 and preliminarily designated as a comet by scientists might in reality turn out to be an alien spacecraft, one Californian researcher suggests.

A mysterious object heading through our Solar System could be an interstellar probe piloted by hyper-intelligent beings, a senior astronomer at the Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute in California, Dr Seth Shostak, told the Sun.
