The Signs in the Sky caused by the tail of Nibiru can be confusing as they take many forms. We have for years had Second Sun sightings at Dawn and Dusk when Sunlight glints off the vast Dust Cloud of Nibiru – the angle just right to bounce the Sunlight to Earth. We have for years also had Neon Clouds, which are Petrol in the Sky burning when it encounters Oxygen in the Atmosphere. When Petrol has not yet lit, it can create a rainbow sheen on clouds or appear as a black mass if dense and large.
The temporary local Moon Eclipse occurred due to an unlit Petrol Mass was such an instance. This Eclipse was not universal but only seen locally, thus the mass was close to Earth. Red Dust will give burning Petrol a red color, but a mix of Red and Blue can produce a green color. Sky Glow occurs when Petrol burns on the upper atmosphere, producing a glow from horizon to horizon. Now that Nibiru is centering in front of the Sun, sunlight shines through the Vast Dust Cloud, illuminating the Nibiru Complex.

WATCH: Colorful fireball blazes across Puerto Rican skies as Google Loon project sparks hundreds of UFO reports
The impressive light show took place on Tuesday night, as the Orionid meteor shower was peaking. The stunning spectacle was captured by photographer Frankie Lucena, who shared footage of the incident on social media on Wednesday.
The skywatcher speculated that the fireball was a Taurid – a type of meteor named after their radiant point in the constellation Taurus.
The skies above the unincorporated US territory have been a hive of activity in recent days, as the Caribbean Astronomical Society has reported that hundreds of Puerto Ricans have reported seeing unexplained “white dots” in the sky during daylight hours.
The society was inundated with people seeking answers, and many even managed to photograph the peculiar objects, which were described as akin to “bright planets.”
An investigation subsequently revealed that the “planets” were actually balloons from Project Loon – a development from Google’s parent company, Alphabet. The network of WiFi-equipped helium balloons aims to expand broadband access on the ground, with the added benefit of boosting Google’s information-collection capabilities in the sky.
“We are totally sure that what was seen in the sky were these balloons, since we even managed to capture photos through telescopes, at a time when the naked eye could see the same white dots that many saw,” the Caribbean Astronomical Society said in a statement.

‘It looked like fireworks, until it split into four dots’: Fireball in the sky over Alaska
Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire.
Katie Kangas operates a bed-and-breakfast in Ruby, Alaska. On the morning of Oct. 15, she turned to look out her picture window, toward the cabin next door. She was waiting for her client to switch the light on, at which point she would step out and deliver his breakfast.
Staring out into the darkness, she and her husband Ivan saw “an enormous ball of light in the sky to the west. It was moving north to south, and was quite big.”
A few hundred miles northwest, Daisy Sours was standing outside in Selawik, Alaska, at about 7:30 that morning. She saw something she never had before.
“It looked like fireworks, until it split into four dots,” she said.
At villages in northwestern and central Alaska, from McGrath to Wainwright, people saw what scientists think was a meteorite — a rock falling from space burning up and breaking apart in the thick air surrounding Earth.
David Fee thinks it was a bolide, a fiery meteor that exploded in the atmosphere, probably above the quiet spruce swamps east of Kaltag and south of Galena.
Fee is head of the infrasound program at UAF’s Geophysical Institute. Infrasound is low-frequency noise; elephants might be able to hear it, but our ears don’t work in that range.
Scientists detect infrasound signals with microphones on spidery legs. The stations are peppered all over Alaska.
Those sensitive instruments, maintained by scientists with the Wilson Alaska Technical Center, Alaska Volcano Observatory and the Alaska Earthquake Center, allow researchers to monitor air-pressure changes, as well as low-frequency sounds.
Since the 100-plus stations were installed all over Alaska, in Antarctica and on humid islands in large expanses of blue salt water, scientists have detected nuclear explosions beneath China from as far away as Fairbanks.
Helping determine compliance with the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty is a large part of the Wilson Alaska Technical Center’s existence, but scientists have found the infrasound networks valuable for other things.
Fee, who is also a researcher with the Alaska Volcano Observatory, finds infrasound useful for capturing the explosive roar of volcanoes. Scientists have also detected the aurora borealis stirring the thin air above us, and the air disturbed by far-off mine explosions.
And, it turns out, infrasound is also a good tool for measuring the path of space rocks screaming through the 30-mile shell of gases surrounding our planet. An infrasound network on the UAF campus in Fairbanks recorded a clean signal of the air-pressure waves from the Oct. 15 bolide over western Alaska.
“I typically don’t work on meteors, but they are often really nice infrasound sources to help better understand the performance of our networks, and I think provide valuable information on meteors and bolides themselves,” Fee said.
Stations from all over Alaska helped Fee and his coworkers determine that the space rocks from the mid-October visitor to Earth are probably somewhere north of the upper Innoko River.
The chunks and nuggets — coated with a black “fusion crust,” the result of sizzling friction with air molecules — have now cooled to the touch. Those bits of space are now buried by snow within a quiet portion of the third rock
from the sun.

Huge Fireball Meteor over Alaska Sets off Volcano Warning System 360 Miles Away
10/26/20 AT 10:48 AM EDT
A huge "fireball" meteor that lit up skies across west Alaska also set off newly installed sensors for detecting volcanic activity, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has said.
The event, which took place on October 15, triggered six of the sensors' alarms at a new monitoring station on the Kenai Peninsula. The sensors are built to detect low-frequency sound waves in the atmosphere during volcanic activity, but in this case they picked up waves coming from the meteor that had streaked across the sky around 360 miles away.
In a Facebook post, the USGS said the meteor also triggered an alarm at Mount Spurr—a large, active volcano that sits around 80 miles from Anchorage that last erupted in 1992. However, as other monitoring systems also picked up on the waves, "it quickly became clear that this was not activity at Mount Spur," the post said.
Scientists with the USGS Alaska Volcano Observatory worked with researchers from the University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute to investigate the cause. They found the meteor passed over Alaska around 40 miles from the Athabaskan community of Kaltag, which sits on the Yukon River.
In a blog post for the American Geophysical Union, UAF science writer Ned Rozell said witnesses reported the fireball in regions hundreds of miles apart. One resident of Ruby described it as an "enormous ball of light in the sky," saying it was moving north to south. Another resident said it looked like "fireworks" that split into four dots.
David Fee, head of the infrasound program at UAF's Geophysical Institute and researcher with the AVO, said he believes the meteor exploded somewhere east of Kaltag. "I typically don't work on meteors, but they are often really nice infrasound sources to help better understand the performance of our networks, and I think provide valuable information on meteors and bolides themselves," he said
Meteors are small bits of space rock that enter Earth's atmosphere. When they do, they burn up, producing a bright light that streaks across the sky. If any rock survives, it falls to Earth and becomes a meteorite. Fee said they believe the meteorite from the event probably hit the ground somewhere north of the Innoko River and that the remains will now be buried with snow.
Over a dozen meteors are thought to hit Earth's atmosphere every day. So far this year, the American Meteor Society has recorded more than 570 events where there were more than five sightings. This includes a fireball passing over California on October 23, which was reported by 81 people. Witnesses described the fireball as being almost as bright as the moon. One onlooker said it was the "most amazing" thing they had ever seen

Fireball booms across US on Halloween - 'Brightest shooting star of my life'
A FIREBALL which some have described as the biggest and brightest they had ever seen boomed over northeastern USA on Halloween.
UPDATED: 14:35, Mon, Nov 2, 2020
The spooky season kicked off with a bang on Halloween when residents across nine states witnessed a huge fireball. The meteor was so big and bright that it could be seen in the north of Michigan, all the way down to Georgia, more than 900 kilometres away.
Witnesses described the booming fireball as having a plethora of colours, mainly blue, white and green, coming from the main body as it hit Earth's atmosphere.
Almost 200 people flocked to the International Meteor Organisation (IMO) to report their sightings.
One video captured by a security camera shows the fireball seemingly getting bigger and bigger as it approaches the surface before simply disappearing.
Shawna added: "Seemed closer than any other falling star or fireball I’d ever seen.
"Had a white to light yellow head with a green to blue tail and seemed to have a white streak behind it but not a long one.
"I thought it was a firecracker at first but it didn’t make sense to be falling and I never heard a noise."
Shae reported to the IMO: "I have never seen anything like it in my life!"
Stephanie said: "Very bright green light streaked across the sky not very high in altitude, larger than any other shooting star I've seen."
Tracy added: "Looked like the brightest shooting star in my life."
Rhonda stated: "Never saw anything like this - it was big, bright, & colourful.
"Compared to other shooting stars or meteor showers, this looked much closer. Only lasted about 4 seconds, then simply vanished!"
Fireballs are the result of meteors hitting the atmosphere.

Massive fireball and sonic boom creates shock waves across the Wheatbelt
Mon, 2 November 2020 6:21PM
Sunday night’s fireball and sonic boom has been described as sounding like “someone’s meth lab just blew up”, with experts crediting the loud boom to a small piece of asteroid hitting the atmosphere.
Experts from Curtin University’s Desert Fireball Network told the ABC the fireball — reported east of Perth at 8.09pm on Sunday — said the sonic boom was so loud the sound would have been heard as far as 50km from the fireball.
"Sonic booms are quite common for rocks that make it quite deep in the atmosphere," Dr Hadrien Devillepoix told the ABC.
"They pack a big punch and create a kind of shock wave. That's what people hear.”
He said the fireball, which was was expected to have travelled at about 10-20 kilometres per second, would have most likely landed to the east of Perth.
"Not many people actually saw the fireball directly.
"We got it on one camera — all the way down in Katanning in the Wheatbelt."
Residents from Chidlow told the ABC it sounded like “something was blowing up”.
“It was loud enough for us to sit, look at each other, and look outside to see what it was,” Tony Ettridge said.
“We thought, jokingly, 'someone's meth lab just blew up'.”

VIDEO: Bright fireball meteor confirmed over Central Alabama
A bright fireball streaked across the night skies of Alabama just before 6 p.m. Sunday evening
TALLADEGA, Ala. (WSFA) - There were many reports of a mysterious bright greenish-blue object streaking across the Alabama sky just before 6 p.m. on Sunday. Turns out it was a very bright meteor -- often referred to simply as a fireball.
The fireball wasn’t just spotted in Central Alabama; it was seen at multiple locations across Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, and Tennessee.
It was even seen a time or two as far away as Kentucky, Virginia and Florida!
According to reports submitted to the American Meteor Society, it was seen burning up in Earth’s atmosphere near Birmingham, Montgomery, Huntsville, Auburn, and Troy just to name a few Alabama cities.
The most concentrated area of reports came in from around Atlanta, Georgia. That’s likely due to the amount of people there that could have witnessed it.
The actual path of the bright meteor was just east of Birmingham.
The starting point of its path was roughly the meeting point of Calhoun, Cherokee and Etowah counties east of Gadsden. It traveled southwest and ended its path at the intersection of U.S. 431 and AL-144 near Alexandria, Ohatchee and Wellington. That’s just north of I-20 and the Anniston/Oxford area.
The “Geometric Impact Point” of the fireball is between downtown Talladega and I-20 in northern Talladega County. That’s essentially where the meteor would have struck Earth’s surface if it survived burning up in the lower atmosphere.
While not likely, it’s possible that small pieces or fragments -- referred to as meteorites -- made it to the surface. These are very rare and can be worth a significant amount of money if confirmed as legitimate.
So...was this a crazy or super rare thing?
Eh, not really. Fireballs happen all the time across the entire planet. As of November 3rd, the American Meteor Society has documented over 6,200 fireball “events"... alone.
It is a bit more on the rare side to have an exceptionally bright meteor zip across the night sky in your home state. It’s even rarer to document it as these fireballs are only visible for a matter of seconds at most. And unfortunately, there’s no way to really predict them to prepare your phones and cameras.

During the last night of November 1, two impressive fireballs flew over the sky. The first one at 18:53 UT (19:53 local time) occurred over the skies of Castilla La Mancha. This object could be registered by SMART Project detectors operated from the observatories of Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), Sierra Nevada (Granada), La Hita (Toledo) and Seville.
With regard to the second object, the results of the analyses are still very provisional. Everything seems to indicate that this fireball flew over North Africa at 22:30 UT (23:30 local time) and ended with a large explosion.
The two objects could be recorded with the external surveillance cameras of the Calar Alto Observatory in Almería.
According to the analysis carried out by Professor José María Madiedo (Instituteof Astrophysics of Andalusia IAA CSIC), the first car had a comeary origin. A piece of rock tached from a comet hit our atmosphere at an estimated speed of about 65,000 km/h. The luminous part of this event began at an altitude of 97 km and ended at about 64 km above sea level.
The results are entirely provisional. Everything seems to indicate, in any case, that the object had an asteroid origin and that it occurred in the skies of North Africa.
This event had a brightness similar to that of the full moon and concluded with a large explosion. It is curious to see how from the point of view of one of the external surveillance cameras of the Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, this object seems to hit one of the telescopes.

Huge Fireball Spotted Over US Scares Residents
Witnesses of the fireball sighting claimed that the object that burned up produced green and orange light in the skies
On November 14, a huge fireball streaked across the skies of the United States. The fireball was so bright that it literally scared residents in the area. Soon after the sighting, residents in the area reported the event to the International Meteor Organization (IMO). Most of the people who witnessed the event claimed that the fireball was incredibly big, and it produced huge light in the skies.
"I've seen shooting stars in the past, but this one was much larger than anything I've seen before. It honestly frightened me and my girlfriend," wrote Eric on the IMO website, after reporting the sighting.
Another eyewitness named Ben claimed that the meteor that burned up in the atmosphere could be the biggest shooting star that he has ever seen in his life. These eyewitnesses also claimed that the fireball produced green and orange light in the atmosphere, that lasted only for one or two seconds.
According to space scientists, fireballs are nothing but small meteors and other space bodies that burn up in the skies while entering the earth's atmosphere. According to the International Meteor Organization that was formed in 1998, these fireballs usually appear brighter than normal.
"Fireballs are meteors that appear brighter than normal. Due to the velocity at which they strike the Earth's atmosphere, fragments larger than one millimeter has the capability to produce a bright flash as they streak through the heavens above. These bright meteors are what we call fireballs and they often strike fear and awe for those who witness them," IMO says on their website.
On the other hand, conspiracy theorists suggest that earth has entered a thick debris field, and it could be the reason behind an increase in meteor entry and asteroid close approaches. These conspiracy theorists believe that this rise in asteroid close approaches could be indicating the arrival of Nibiru, the rogue space body that could cause apocalypse on planet earth.

Fireball explodes over Portugal at dawn
November 17, 2020
The Universe, this year, seems to have more frequently responded to requests for “Vem meteoro” – this time, a fireball exploded in the skies south of Portugal at dawn this Monday (16).
The bolide began to be followed by sensors from the Andalusian Astrophysics Institute (IAA-CSIC), and by the astronomical observatories in Calar Alto, Seville and La Hita, Spain, as soon as it entered the Earth’s atmosphere.
The meteor crossed the entire Iberian Peninsula until it exploded over
After entering the atmosphere at 227 thousand kilometers per hour, the friction of the atmosphere with the rock (probably the piece of a comet), caused it to explode, at 60 kilometers of altitude, in a flash seen by the naked eye throughout the south of the country.
The event was captured by numerous cameras, such as the one at the Calar Alto Observatory:
A meteor to call Brazilian
In May this year, a similar meteorite scared residents of the city of Tiros, in Minas Gerais. After searching around the city looking for fragments of the meteor, one of them found a piece of about 400g, which helped to identify the origin of the rock.
Analysis of the fragment revealed that the now-called Tiros meteorite is part of Vesta, one of the largest asteroids in the solar system.

Remarkable fireball captured breaking up on film
The footage was taken roughly 60 miles off the southern Tasmanian coast
An enormous fireball was caught on camera streaking across the night sky in Australia, before breaking up over the Tasman Sea
The footage, captured by the vessel RV Investigator, was taken on Nov. 18, roughly 60 miles off the southern Tasmanian coast, according to a blog post from Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).
"What we saw on reviewing the livestream footage astounded us, the size and brightness of the meteor was incredible," CSIRO Voyage Manager on board, John Hooper, said in the post. "The meteor crosses the sky directly in front of the ship and then breaks up – it was amazing to watch the footage and we were very fortunate that we captured it all on the ship livestream."
'EXTRATERRESTRIAL ORGANIC COMPOUNDS' FOUND IN 2018 MICHIGAN 'FIREBALL'
The livestream, which operates 24/7 from a camera on the RV Investigator, shows the fireball turning a bright green color before it broke apart.
"Over 100 tons of natural space debris enters Earth's atmosphere every day," Glen Nagle from CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science, explained in the post. "Most of it goes unseen as it occurs over an unpopulated area like the southern ocean."
"Cameras are everywhere, in our pockets and around our cities, but they have to be pointed in the right place at the right time – RV Investigator was in that place and time," Nagle added.
A small chunk of an asteroid or comet is known as a meteoroid. When it enters Earth's atmosphere, it becomes a meteor, fireball or shooting star. The pieces of rock that hit the ground, valuable to collectors, are called meteorites.
Last month, researchers discovered that a fireball that entered Earth's atmosphere in January 2018 over Michigan contained "extraterrestrial organic compounds."
In 2019, a separate group of researchers suggested meteorites actually made life possible on Earth. They identified isotopes of selenium in rocks in Earth's mantle and found identical isotope signatures inside certain meteorites, notably those from the outer solar system.

Observers across central Europe from Germany to Italy were wowed by a meteor burning up in the sky while taking its time falling to its final resting place(s) on Nov. 19.
The American Meteor Society received over 115 sighting reports, many of them centered around the Austrian city of Salzburg, including some dramatic videos and images like the one above.
While most fireball events are fleeting, lasting perhaps a few seconds, this monster grew progressively brighter as it fell to the ground over the course of nearly half a minute.
Several all-sky cameras from the German AllSky7 fireball network caught the event. You can watch the increasingly dramatic compilation below. The cameras with a closer vantage point clearly show the bolide breaking apart into multiple fireballs as it descends and flames out.

Falling meteor causes fireball, flash of light over parts of Ontario
December 3, 2020 12:18PM EST
TORONTO -- A meteor travelling an estimated 100,000 kilometers an hour is believed to have fallen into the earth’s atmosphere on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in multiple reports of a bright flash of light above Toronto and some streaks of fire in the sky across southern Ontario.
Around noon, a number of GTA residents reported seeing a fireball trail across the sky while others said they saw a large flash of nearly blinding light.
According to Dr. Denis Vida, a postdoctoral associate with the University of Western Ontario in their physics and astronomy department, a basket-ball sized meteor is believed to have entered the earth’s atmosphere at a 45-degree angle about 50 kilometers north of Syracuse, New York.
Vida said that it’s still too early to know if some pieces of the meteor made it to the ground or if the rock completely disintegrated upon entry. He said the large flash of light seen primarily over Syracuse would have been the result of the meteor being fragmented by the earth’s atmosphere.
“The flash was probably about 10 times brighter than the moon, the full moon,” he said. “At that moment the body either completely disintegrated or lost a lot of mass.”
As of 5 p.m., more than 80 reports were made to the American Meteor Society regarding a fireball seen on Dec. 2.
Those in the United States reportedly heard an audible boom following the event, Vida said.
“Someone called me and said that their house shook so much that they thought a tree fell on the house.”
Vida said that it’s not uncommon for meteors to enter the earth’s atmosphere and that people witness the event generally about once a month on a global scale.
“But locally. It's much rarer.”

“The last burst of light was as bright as the full moon.”
dec 2 2020
On Sunday night, a brightly burning meteor descended through the Earth’s atmosphere over Japan.
The fireball was visible for just a few seconds in the early hours of Sunday. Experts believe small fragments of the meteorite might have reached the ground, The Associated Press reports.
Takeshi Inoue, the director of the Akashi Municipal Planetarium, told Japan’s Kyodo news agency (via CBS), “We believe the last burst of light was as bright as the full moon.”
The spectacle drew massive attention on social media outlets
CBS reports that NHK public television, Japan’s public media organization, stated its weather cameras stationed in the nation’s central prefectures of Aichi and Mie captured the fireball in the southern sky.
The outlet posted this compilation of videos on Twitter on Monday morning:
In addition to NHK and other news outlets, many in western Japan also shared their own videos of the rare sight on their social media accounts.
“The sky went bright for a moment and I felt strange because it couldn’t be lightning,” said one Twitter user who saw the meteor. “I felt the power of the universe!” via CBS.
“That was scary” said another who tweeted a video of the light burst captured while driving.

People in Michigan, 4 other states see midday fireball arc across the sky
Several people in Michigan offered first-hand reports of a midday fireball and accompanying “boom” that were seen and felt from Ontario all the way to Virginia on Wednesday.
The noontime show was likely a disintegrating meteor, according to the Associated Press.
Nearly 100 witness reports of a fireball had come in to the American Meteor Society based in western New York. That tally included several people from Michigan, including reports from people in Marlette in Sanilac County, Marysville, Livonia, and this one from Macomb County’s Clinton Township:
“It was a perfectly BRIGHT sunny day without a cloud in the sky and the fireball was 100% clear and bright.”
To see more of the reports, check the AMS website here. Other fireball reports came from Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania. The color of the display apparently was in the eye of the beholder. A person who saw the fireball in New York described it as bright white with shades of yellow, according to the AP. Someone else in Maryland said it looked red and had orange sparks. Another observer said it had a long, bright green train.
The boom shook windows in central New York, prompting people to call 911. Because most of those loud boom reports were from the Syracuse, New York area, that’s likely where the meteor exploded, said Robert Lunsford of the AMS in Geneseo.
“Sunny day so it looked like a gold metallic flash against the blue sky,” said a report from Winchester, Virginia.
“Astonishing, amazing, still get goosebumps talking about it,” wrote an observer in Port Dover, Ontario. “The train was flaming white, wide and long, no smoke.”
“We tend to notice fireballs more at night because they stand out better, but it’s not terribly unusual for very bright ones to be noticed during the day. It happens several times a year over populated areas,” said Margaret Campbell-Brown, a member of the Meteor Physics Group at Western University in London, Ontario.
So why do some fireballs have such a big sound? These bright meteors produce sound waves, and big meteors can give off a sonic boom that sounds like thunder when they break apart, Campbell-Brown said.

Did you hear a boom last night (Dec 7) in Upstate New York? Did you see a streak of light cut across the night sky? If so, you aren’t alone.
Witnesses from Virginia to New York to Quebec reported fireball sightings to the American Meteor Society on Monday night. One sighting came from Oswego County.
A video taken by a doorbell camera in the city of Oswego shows a flash of light in the night sky. The flash was followed by a loud, resounding boom. The video, taken at 9:21 p.m. near Miller Street, was provided by a witness and posted on the meteor society’s website.
AMS event #7444-2020

The reports came less than a week after a meteor exploded over Central New York. The house-shaking, sonic boom sounded like an explosion, startling residents in Central New York and beyond.
Three of Monday night’s fireball reports came from Upstate New York. They were spaced about three hours apart, according to the society’s logs: 7:31 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:20 p.m.
The biggest string of fireball reports happened at 7:31 p.m. The meteor society received 155 reports from witnesses — mostly in Ontario and Quebec — who saw a fireball in the sky, according to the meteor society’s logs. Witnesses in the Catskills and Albany area also reported spotting a fiery light in the sky.
An hour later, a second fireball event was reported to the meteor society. Most of the 28 witness reports were in Pennsylvania. But one fireball sighting was made southeast of Cortland, according to the society’s logs.
The fireball sighting in Oswego was the last submitted to the meteor society last night. So far, only one witness reported hearing a boom and seeing a flash of light.

Rare daytime fireball meteor creates massive sonic boom over UK
https://www.livescience.com/uk-daytime-fireball-meteor-sonic-boom.html
A rare daytime fireball meteor triggered a loud sonic boom across parts of the United Kingdom and France over the weekend.
The sonic boom occurred at 2:50 p.m. local time on Saturday (March 20) and was reportedly heard in southwest England, Wales and northern France, according to Sky News. At first, most people assumed that the noise was the result of fighter jets, but the Ministry of Defence quikcly announced that this couldn't have been the case, according to the BBC.
However, a handful of people on Twitter said they had witnessed a bright flash of light across the sky at the same time, and thanks to satellite images, it was later confirmed to be a fireball meteor, according to the BBC.
The meteor was a bolide — the largest and brightest type of fireball meteor — and would have needed to be "very large" to be visible during the day, Richard Kacerek, from the UK Meteor Observation Network of amateur astronomers, told the BBC.
On Feb. 28, another large fireball meteor lit up the night sky over the U.K. and was seen by a potentially record-breaking number of people, Live Science previously reported.

Four fireballs spotted during the week-end
According to the American Meteor Society (AMS), the daylight fireball was actually just one of the fireball events this past weekend. There were also fireball events in Tampa Bay and Pennsylvania. Another was also observed in California, Nevada and Arizona.
Daylight Fireball over the English Channel on Friday, 19th
Thanks to our European partners Vigie-Ciel (FR) and UKMON (UK), we received 125 reports so far about a daylight fireball event that occurred over the English Channel on Saturday, March 20th 2021 around 14:50 UT. The AMS #2021-978 event was mainly seen from West of France (Brittany, Normandy and Parisian region) and from South West England and Wales.
Many witness from the UK heard a sonic boom and Soundcloud user Joseph Stockwell had the chance to record the event:

Fireball over Tampa Bay, on Saturday 20th, 8:30 PM EDT
Even though there was significant cloud cover, 60 of eyewitnesses in middle Florida reported us seeing a bright fireball around 8:32 PM Eastern Daylight Time (2021-03-21 00:30 Universal Time). An analysis of these reports indicated that the meteor was first seen at an altitude of 52 miles above Tampa Bay, moving a little south of west at 48,000 miles per hour. It ablated 33 miles over the Gulf of Mexico after traveling 39 miles through the atmosphere (study: NASA from the AMS reports).
80 eyewitness reports from California, Nevada & Arizona – Saturday 20th
Few hours later, at least 80 people (mainly from California but also from Nevada and Arizona) reported a slow fireball seen between Las Vegas, NV and Bakersfield CA around 7:50 PM Pacific Daylight Time (2021-03-21 02:50 Universal Time). Analysis of these reports indicates that the AMS event #1787-2021 was first spotted 60 miles above Church Dome in the Sequoia National Forest northeast of Bakersfield. It moved south of east at 86,000 miles per hour before ablating 43 miles above Goldstone, traveling a total distance of 87 miles in just under 4 seconds (study: NASA from the AMS reports)..
E. Rosen from Solana Beach caught the event on this door bell cam:
Bright fireball over Pennsylvania, on Sunday March 21st, 0:30 AM EDT
Last but not least, we received more than 240 reports (and counting) about another fireball spotted over Pennsylvania on Sunday March 21st, 0:30 AM Eastern Daylight Time (04:30 Universal Time). The event has mainly been seen from Pennsylvania, but we also received reports from Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and from Ontario and Québec.
A analysis lead by NASA shows that the object first became visible 55 miles (88 km) above the town of Greenstone, near the Pennsylvania / Maryland border. Moving northwest at 51,000 miles per hour (23 km/s), the fireball traversed 38 miles (61 km) through the atmosphere before fragmenting 28 miles (45 km) above the Pennsylvania town of Newburg. The orbit of the object and the brightness of the event (roughly that of the gibbous Moon) indicate that the fireball was caused by an asteroidal fragment weighing 7 pounds (3 kg) and about 5 inches (13 cm) in diameter.
Below is a quick compilation of some of the videos we received about this event:

Chinese researchers propose deflecting 'Armageddon' asteroids with rockets
BEIJING, July 7 (Reuters) - Chinese researchers want to send more than 20 of China's largest rockets to practice turning away a sizable asteroid - a technique that may eventually be crucial if a killer rock is on a collision course with Earth.
The idea is more than science fiction. Sometime between late 2021 to early 2022, the United States will launch a robotic spacecraft to intercept two asteroids relatively close to Earth.
When it arrives a year later, the NASA spacecraft will crash-land on the smaller of the two rocky bodies to see how much the asteroid's trajectory changes. It will be humanity's first try at changing the course of a celestial body.
At China's National Space Science Center, researchers found in simulations that 23 Long March 5 rockets hitting simultaneously could deflect a large asteroid from its original path by a distance 1.4 times the Earth's radius.
Their calculations are based on an asteroid dubbed Bennu, orbiting the sun, which is as wide as the Empire State Building is tall. It belongs to a class of rocks with the potential to cause regional or continental damage. Asteroids spanning more than 1 km would have global consequences.
The science center cited a recently published study in Icarus, a journal on planetary science.
Long March 5 rockets are key to China's near-term space ambitions - from delivering space station modules to launching probes to the Moon and Mars. China has successfully launched six Long March 5 rockets since 2016, with the last one causing some safety concerns as its remnants reentered the atmosphere in May.
"The proposal of keeping the upper stage of the launch rocket to a guiding spacecraft, making one large 'kinetic impactor' to deflect an asteroid, is a rather nice concept," said Professor Alan Fitzsimmons from the Astrophysics Research Centre at Queen's University Belfast.
"By increasing the mass hitting the asteroid, simple physics should ensure a much greater effect," Fitzsimmons told Reuters, although, he added, the actual operation of such a mission needs to be studied in greater detail.
Current estimates show there is roughly a 1% chance a 100-metre-wide asteroid would strike Earth in the next 100 years, said Professor Gareth Collins at Imperial College London.
"Something the size of Bennu colliding is about 10 times less likely," Collins said.
Altering an asteroid's path presents a lower risk than blasting the rock with nuclear explosives, which may create smaller fragments without changing their course, scientists say.

Bright blue fireball caught on videos over Colorado
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/bright-blue-fireball-caught-on-vi...
More than 40 people reported a fireball sighting Sunday morning (Oct. 3), mainly over Colorado. The fireball was also seen in Wyoming and New Mexico and 12 people submitted videos to the American Meteor Society.
Another video, taken by Josh Ellis in Evergreen, Colorado, was shared with CBS Denver. Ellis said the fireball was so bright, it charged his solar lights.
"Everything was pitch dark, and all of a sudden it lit up as if it was a brightly lit moon," said Doug Robinson, who captured video of the fireball over Boulder, Colorado.
Fireballs are bright meteors categorized as brighter than the planet Venus, according to the society, a nonprofit that monitors meteors.
About six people described hearing a boom during the Colorado fireball sighting, a society employee told CBS Denver.
Chris Peterson, who works at the Cloudbait Observatory in the central Colorado Rocky Mountains, said the fireball spotted on Sunday was "descending very deep."
"Ten or 20 miles may not seem very close to the ground, but when we think about typical burning stars, we're seeing things that are burning up 60 to 70 miles high," Peterson told CBS Denver. The observatory also recorded the fireball..."
"..Last week, NASA said a fireball fell over the North Carolina coast at about 32,000 miles per hour. It was one of at least five fireballs seen over the U.S. in the same night.
The American Meteor Society received 148 fireball reports from Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Virginia, and the fireball in North Carolina had the largest group of eyewitness accounts, with more than 80 people reporting it. The fireball was captured in at least two different videos. .."

NASA’s DART Mission Will Intentionally Crash A Spacecraft Into A Small Asteroid To Test Planetary Defense Capabilities
On Nov. 23 at 10:21 p.m. PST/ Nov. 24 at 1:21 a.m. EST, NASA will be launching its first-ever mission to redirect an asteroid. This asteroid is not a danger to Earth, but NASA is ready to test planetary defense capabilities for the future; no super powers or drilling teams needed. The Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft will be headed towards the asteroid Didymos and its small moon and impact target, Dimorphos. DART will intentionally collide with Dimorphos to alter the path of this small asteroid around the larger asteroid Didymos. NASA’s goal with DART is for us to be prepared with a planetary defense capability if an asteroid is ever discovered to be on a collision course with Earth in the future.
Small fragments of asteroids, from pebble-sized to person-sized, hit the Earth every day. Dimorphos is about the height of the Washington Monument (but much bulkier). An asteroid this big could cause severe damage if it were to collide with our planet. No known asteroid poses an impact threat to Earth for the next 100 years, but the danger from asteroids not yet discovered is still unknown. The DART mission will be the first of its kind to alter the path of an asteroid so we can observe how a real asteroid responds to a deflection attempt, should we ever need to deflect one.

Heard a big bang': Nevada County man wonders if meteorite destroyed his house
The Taurids meteor shower was set to peak this weekend but it's unclear what caused the house fire
Northern California officials are looking into if the bright ball of light seen in the sky Friday night is a meteorite that landed on and destroyed a Nevada County home.
Witnesses came from all over the region following the path of the bright ball in the sky to see where it landed and that path might have led to Dustin Procita's home. He was inside the house with his two dogs when he said something hit his home and started a fire.
"I heard a big bang," he said. "I started to smell smoke. I went onto my porch and it was completely engulfed in flames."
Procita lives in a quiet, rural area of rolling hills where cattle graze.
He said the area is home to multi-generational cattle farmers and ranchers. He had just fed the cows and sat on the couch listening to music when it hit his home.
He managed to save his rat terrier dog and tried to get back inside for his other family dog, but couldn't save him. The dog died in the fire.
"I tried to go around to the windows but fire and smoke was dumping through and I couldn’t see inside," Procita said.
Penn Valley Fire Department Captain Josh Miller said they had a call around 7:30 p.m. for a structure fire but because of the secluded location, knew they would have a firefight on their hands.
"Wide, open spaces and this was out on a farm, a cattle ranch area with not much around it," Miller said.
His firefighters, along with Smartsville Fire Department and CalFire, battled the flames for several hours.
It appears the bright ball of light captured on car and home videos landed in the middle of nowhere. Procita believes a meteor landed on his house.
"I always watched meteor showers as a kid but I didn't want them landing in my yard or through my roof," he said.
"Everyone I talked to said it was a flaming ball falling from the sky and landed in that general area," Miller said.
Miller said witnesses started arriving on the scene and are looking into if a meteorite caused the fire in the rural area.
"I had one individual tell me about it first and I put it in the back of my mind but then more people — 2, 3, 4 — started coming in and talking about it," he said.
Procita and his wife said they will pick up the pieces and realize maybe the odds are in their favor.
"They said it's a one in four trillion chance so I guess I might be buying a lottery ticket today," Procita said.
Miller said it will take about two weeks to determine the cause of the fire.
Taurid meteor showers are currently happening in the area, with the peak taking place on Saturday. NASA said there will be an increase of bright balls visible in the sky.

Massive fireball brings people to TEARS as it lights up the skies over Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida - leaving some fearing 'Armageddon'
One witness from Gulfport, Mississippi said 'it was incredible' and 'very large.'
'It was still the size of a car when it went behind the trees,' they added.
Dash and ring cameras across the south picked up the other-worldly sighting and have subsequently circulated online.
Several additional witnesses said it was by far the largest and brightest falling object they'd ever seen.
One from Frankston, Texas said they'd 'seen falling stars but nothing like this.'
'It was very clear and very vivid. I could see the heat coming off front circling around in a flame and trailing a trail of fire behind its path.'
Another witness from New Orleans said they were alarmed by the event, and thought it perhaps was the end.
'The magnitude of what I saw had me bracing for a catastrophic event. I was driving on a freeway when it happened and found myself looking for a mushroom cloud or Armageddon,' they said.
One person in Cheneyville, Louisiana said the comet looked like it landed in some nearly fields, though it is still not clear exactly where it did land.
While the witness did not feel an explosion or any other sort of tremor, they emphasized the visuals of the experience from earlier this month.
'There wasn't an explosion that I am aware of but there was a flash, a flash that is a lot like fireworks going off that lights up everything for a brief moment,' they said.
In Alabama, one witness said the meteor nearly brought about tears.
'I have never seen anything like it at all. This was no shooting star. This was something much bigger and outstanding. I cannot even describe the spectacle it was.'
Last week, it was reported that witnesses across Louisiana caught a glimpse of the mysterious meteor - some theorizing that what they saw was alien life touching down in a UFO.
'That ain't no meteor, that's an alien ship warping into our space and time,' one person said of the doorbell footage.
'UFO must've stopped to get a poboy,' joked another person, referring to a sandwich originally from Louisiana.

In April 2025, a dazzling bolide—a remarkably bright meteor—blazed across the skies near Mexico City before harmlessly disintegrating in the atmosphere. Reports suggest a meteorite was on course to impact a populated area but mysteriously altered its trajectory. Witnesses claim an orb, possibly an alien craft, hovered above and appeared to influence the fireball’s path. Could this have been extraterrestrial divine intervention?

The project is part of Brussels’ Defense Readiness Roadmap, and aims to protect the bloc’s military and communications satellites in case of conflict. The EU plans to establish a ‘space shield’ to protect its satellites from Russia, the European Commission has revealed.
The Defense Readiness Roadmap draft unveiled on Thursday describes the project as the EU’s response to the “evolving threat landscape” from a “militarized Russia” and other “authoritarian states,” as the US shifts its focus away from Europe.
Russia has dismissed claims that it poses a threat as “nonsense,” accusing the West of fueling Russophobia to justify increased military spending and distract from domestic problems.
