Altering Earthquakes:

ZetaTalk Aug 7, 2010

As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?

SOZT:   Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many?   EOZT

ZetaTalk Jun 18, 2011

Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?

SOZT:   It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.

We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable.   EOZT

Please collect earthquake-reports here. Significant Quakes or Magnitude 7+ can be posted separately.

US Geological Survey says a magnitude 5.5 earthquake has struck in southern Iran near Bushehr nuclear plant

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates: The US Geological Survey says a magnitude 5.5 earthquake has struck in southern Iran near a nuclear plant, shaking Bahrain and other areas around the Arabian Gulf. There was no immediate report of damage or injuries.

The USGS says the quake struck at 0634 GMT some 100 kilometers, about 60 miles, east of Bushehr. That's home to the Bushehr Nuclear Power, the only operating nuclear power plant in Iran.
Iranian state television, citing officials, described the quake as a magnitude 5.9. Varying magnitudes are common immediately after a temblor.

In Bahrain, an island kingdom off Saudi Arabia, people on social media said they felt the quake and evacuated from high-rise buildings.

New "major explosion" on the Stromboli volcano: "violent and unpredictable" events [PHOTO and VIDEO] ITALY
    http://www.meteoweb.eu/2018/04/eruzione-vulcano-stromboli-foto-vide...

New "major explosion" recorded on the Stromboli volcano by INGV: the entire explosive sequence lasted about 3 minutes

A new " major explosion " was recorded today, April 27, on the Stromboli volcano by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv), " after the intense explosive sequence that last April 24 involved the mouths of the central area. south placed on the crater terrace.

eventeen seconds after the first explosion, at 00:54:07, began a modest fountaining (continuous jet of lava, in this case expelled at a height of the order of a few tens of meters) that, gradually, it went to discontinuous strombolian explosions (spattering), interspersed with some explosions of ash and incandescent material of low intensity that reached a maximum height of about 80 m.

The entire explosive sequence - the note continues - lasted about three minutes. Subsequently, the volcano returned to produce its normal Strombolian activity.

As known, these explosive events are marked by greater violence than the "ordinary" Strombolian activity

The fear of a volcanic eruption grows as hundreds of earthquakes shook the Canary Islands.
    SPAIN REGION

    http://www.2012un-nouveau-paradigme.com/2018/05/la-peur-d-une-erupt...

    9 May 2018

An unspecified earthquake acceleration has scared off one of the most popular holiday destinations, the Canary Islands, in anticipation of its peak summer season, raising fears of devastating natural disasters. The local government holds an emergency meeting to discuss what might happen.

In the last ten days, nearly 300 earthquakes have rocked the territory of the largest islands in the Canary Islands, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.

The region is home to the third highest volcano in the world, Mount Teide and the National Park of the same name, which is also one of the most visited tourist destinations because of its many volcanoes

The research cited by the Daily Star , suggest that the seismic activity was caused by an underwater fault between the two main Canary Islands, which could lead to an eruption, similar to the recent Hawaiian disaster: the Kilauea volcano sent lava flows in neighboring houses, forcing thousands of people to evacuate.

Fears that the Teide volcano of the Canaries could be reactivated and fears of a mega-eruption forced the government to prepare an emergency meeting.

    AboutLaacher See

Laacher See or Laach Lake is a volcanic caldera lake with a diameter of 2km in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, about 24km northwest of Koblenz and 37km south of Bonn, and is closest to the town of Andernach situated 8km to the east on the river Rhine. It is in the Eifel mountain range, and is part of the East Eifel volcanic field within the larger Vulkaneifel. The lake was formed by a Plinian eruption approximately 12,900 years ago with a Volcanic Explosivity Index of 6, on the same scale as the Pinatubo eruption of 1991.

Earthquake swarm near Mayotte, oldest volcanic island in the Comoros basin

    https://watchers.news/2018/05/15/earthquake-swarm-near-mayotte-olde...

    May 15, 2018

A rare earthquake swarm started near the small Indian Ocean island of Mayotte on May 10, 2018 and continues to date. Mayotte is the oldest volcanic island in the Comoros Basin grouping and quakes likely are the result of a seismic hot spot as well as the island’s position along the East African Rift.

About 250 shocks were recorded in Iloni between within 24 hours to May 11 at 11:00 UTC, about 35 of magnitude greater than 3.0

The first quake felt by the population hit at 23:19 UTC, May 10 and had a magnitude of 4.5, according to the BRGM.

Other earthquakes are likely to be felt by the population in the hours or days to come,"

Northern Israel residents wake up to 4.1 earthquake

    07.04.18

    https://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-5303645,00.html

    Minor earthquakes rattle northern Israel
Temblor registering 4.1 on Richter scale centered in Sea of Galilee, followed by smaller tremors; no damage reported

4:50am earthquake felt in the northern Kinneret some 10 km northeast of Tiberias followed by several aftershocks at 4:58am (3.2), 6:41am (2.1) and 6:52am (3.8); no one was hurt and no damage reported.

A 4.1 earthquake was felt at 4:50am Wednesday morning in northern Israel, according to the Geophysical Institute of Israel.

It was followed by several weaker aftershocks: a 3.2 earthquake was felt at around 4:58am, a 2.1 earthquake at 6:41am and a 3.8 at 6:52am.

No one was hurt and no damage was reported.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the northern Kinneret, some 10 km northeast of Tiberias, four kilometers below ground.

Bar Ben-Shabat from Tiberias said she could feel the earthquake in her room. "The earthquake was really strong. The bed was shaking. Everything it the room was shaking. It was really scary. By the time I realized this was an earthquake and that I had to get up and leave the room, it calmed down. Later there was another smaller one. The entire neighborhood is up. Some actually came out of their homes in panic."

"It was just scary," said Milna from Tiberias. "I was just in the living room, turning on the air conditioning, when all of a sudden I felt I was moving. It was simply one of the more frightening things to have happened to me. My heart just dropped. I just froze in my spot, I couldn't do anything out of fear."

Some people reported feeling the earthquake in central Israel as well. Shelly from Petah Tikvah said she felt her bed move, "and my birds woke up and started flying screeching in panic in their cage."

Others reported feeling the earthquake in Kfar Saba, Raanana and Hod HaSharon.

The earthquake was also felt in the Jordan Valley. "It was about ten seconds and it was very scary," one resident of the area said. "I live on the second floor and the building was actually shaking."

Residents in the Greater Haifa area also felt the tremors. "It lasted about 15 seconds," said Shlomo Peleg from Kiryat Motzkin. "I felt the floor shaking."
