Altering Earthquakes:

ZetaTalk Aug 7, 2010

As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?

SOZT:   Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many?   EOZT

ZetaTalk Jun 18, 2011

Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?

SOZT:   It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.

We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable.   EOZT

Please collect earthquake-reports here. Significant Quakes or Magnitude 7+ can be posted separately.

Earthquake Shakes Grímsey- ICELAND

http://icelandreview.com/news/2018/02/16/earthquake-shakes-grimsey

An earthquake measuring as much as 4.5 occurred 11 kilometers off the northeast coast of Grímsey, the sparsely populated island located 40 kilometers off the north coast of Iceland, RÚV reports. The quake, which took place a little after 7:00 PM on Thursday night, was felt distinctly by Grímsey residents. Two additional earthquakes, both measured at above 3, were also measured in the area around Grímsey yesterday.

In just the last two days, as many as 800 earthquakes have occurred within the Tjörnes Fracture Zone, not far from the island. This area has, in fact, been experiencing a powerful series of quakes, or seismic swarm, since the end of January. According to Professor Sigurjón Jónsson, one of the leading experts on the Tjörnes Zone, this seismic swarm could be an omen of a larger quake to come, although he emphasizes that it’s difficult to predict this with any level of certainty.

Vendée awakened in the middle of the night by an "intraplate" earthquake of magnitude 4.8

The northwestern quarter of the country is regularly subject to comparable earthquakes, but their origin is not yet clearly identified.

Neither victim nor major damage, but a great fright in the Vendée and the Deux-Sèvres after a relatively intense earthquake occurred in the town of Saint-Hilaire-de-Voust, about twenty kilometers from Bressuire. The quake, whose magnitude is estimated at 4.8 by the French seismic central office, occurred at 4:08 local time. It was felt strongly enough by the inhabitants, awakened in the middle of the night by a thud that evokes thunder or an explosion. More than 350 testimonials, including one recorded in Nantes, were collected on the website franceseisme.fr . Registrants were most often "worried" or "scared" by the shock. Some evoke a moment of "panic".

All these jerks do not have the same origin. The Pyrenean and Alpine mountains are logically the most seismic zones of Metropolitan France, since they are at the meeting of the tectonic plates which give them birth. In the Massif Central, volcanic activity has only recently stopped on the geological time scale one or two million years ago, leaving a slightly active subsoil.

Earthquake activity in Öræfajökull volcano - ICELAND
http://www.jonfr.com/volcano/?p=7331

Posted on February 9, 2018 by Jón Frímann
Today (09-Februar-2018) at 05:07 UTC a magnitude 3,6 earthquake took place in Öræfajökull volcano. This is now the strongest earthquake in Öræfajökull volcano since this earthquake activity started in 2017. With earlier earthquake only having the magnitude of 3,4 (article here) on 3-October-2017. This increase in magnitude is something to worry about.

New Madrid Adjustment secondary fault line
http://poleshift.ning.com/…/blo…/new-madrid-adjustment-under

The New Madrid adjustment will affect so much area, in a domino manner, that it will not be a single large quake, but a series, separated by weeks and months. The primary adjustment will be within days, after shocks for weeks, but months later still, adjustments. The New Madrid is associated with fault lines that run up toward the Great Lakes, Chicago will adjust and rupture, Ohio will be pulled in places, and as we have explained, the land to the West of the Mississippi will sink in places.

There is a known fault line that runs from the center of the Gulf up along the East Coast, thus the effect in 1811-12 in the Carolinas and DC on up to Boston. Then, as we have explained, there will be a bow from San Diego out to Arizona, which will rupture the great dam on the Colorado. When this bow, which forces Mexico too far to the West for the comfort of the West Coast, adjusts, it will be a slip-slide adjustment of the San Andreas and related fault lines up the coast.
