Hard to find articles out of Trinidad regarding land movements, but I found this article with dismayed residents complaining of large cracks, heavy vibrations, snakes and centipedes on the move. Hard to believe one piece of heavy machinery could be the cause.<br />

<p>Now that the Mariana and Philippine plates are folding, we have been anticipating that the SAmerican roll would pick up!</p>
<p>The flooding on the stretch side of S America (Brazil, etc) causes those lands to sink in places, stretch thin and drop, be pulled down. Thus, the flooding.</p>
