Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. SAN ANTONIO, Texas — 2 explosions a few hours apart rocked homes in a north-side neighborhood Tues evening.

The first explosion happened shortly before 6 p.m. Tues in the 15000 block of Preston Hollow Dr. The subsequent fire at the north-side house left 2 adults & one child with life-threatening burn injuries.

The explosion may have been caused by a buildup of natural gas.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Tues, a second blast was heard 2 doors down, and flames soon were seen shooting into the sky from another home.

A man & a woman were also taken to the hospital with similar life-threatening injuries.

SAFD said that 15 houses were evacuated in total: 5 houses in both directions from the 2 original explosions as well as across the street.

Mother, 6 children killed in explosion and fire at Pennsylvania home

MILL HALL, Pa. -- A mother and six children ranging in age from 3 to 11 were killed in an explosion and fire at a central Pennsylvania home, authorities said.

Firefighters responding to a report of an explosion and fire at a home in Lamar Township in Clinton County near Mill Hall on Sunday morning confirmed that seven people were trapped, but they could not search the building engulfed in flames, Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement.

All seven died and police identified them as Sarah Stolzfus, 34, four sons, ages 11, 10, 5 and 3, and two daughters, ages 8 and 6.

The cause is under investigation. A propane leak inside the home may have caused the explosion and fire, police said, noting that exterior propane tanks did not explode and were not contributing factors for the explosion and fire.

Neighbor Christina Duck told WNEP-TV she was eating breakfast when it began.

"And I heard a boom and I could feel it and I got up and looked out the window and I could see the flames through the windows and I come running outside and within a minute the whole house was completely engulfed," Duck said.

The family moved in a couple of months ago, Duck said, noting that she often saw the children outside playing.

ZEIGLER, Illinois — One person was killed and another was injured in a house fire in Zeigler early Thursday morning, April 16.

According to the Zeigler Fire and PD, first responders were called around 5:14 a.m. to a report of an explosion with a fully involved structure fire at 119 N Pine St.

When crews arrived, firefighters said a home was on fire & 2 neighboring homes were affected due to exposure to the fire.

The fire led to the death of one person and a second person suffered burns. The injured victim was found outside the burning home and rushed to a Herrin hospital for treatment.

A fire broke out at a petroleum coke storage facility at Pemex’s Dos Bocas refinery in Tabasco, prompting a rapid emergency response and raising questions about the cause of the incident.

Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported so far, News.Az reports, citing Reuters.

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the refinery after the blaze was detected at the warehouse site. Officials said resources were deployed to prevent the fire from spreading and to stabilize the situation.

The Dos Bocas refinery is one of Mexico’s key energy infrastructure projects, making any incident there closely watched.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation. Pemex said it is continuing to monitor conditions and assess any potential risks linked to the incident.

So far, authorities have not indicated whether operations at the refinery were disrupted.

Despite the scale of the facility, officials emphasized that no injuries have been confirmed, suggesting that safety protocols and emergency procedures may have helped prevent casualties.

13 people hospitalized after explosion at Aspen Aerogels plant in East Providence

More than a dozen people were injured in an explosion at an East Providence, Rhode Island, industrial plant on Wednesday night.

East Providence Mayor Bob DaSilva confirmed an explosion and fire happened at Aspen Aerogels on Dexter Road around 8:15 p.m.

The East Providence Police Department said 13 total workers were transported to area hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

"There's a process they do in the building. They do super insulation. As part of that process that last insulation blanket is dried in, basically, an oven and during that process is when that explosion occurred," East Providence Fire Department Chief Michael Carey said.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal has been notified of the incident and responded to the scene.

Crews from the Central Falls, Cranston, Lincoln, Pawtucket, Providence Seekonk, Massachusetts and Smithfield Fire Departments assisted East Providence companies.

The cause of the blast remains under investigation.

An explosion involving a Gas Well Monday morning in Custer County is under investigation, according to authorities.

The Custer County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a gas well approx 10 miles north of the town of Butler due to reports of an explosion.

After arriving at the scene, investigators say they found one person who had been injured in the explosion, and they were taken to the hospital.

There is no update on the victim’s condition at this time. No names have been released.

TROY, Illinois — An explosion and fire at a home in Troy, IL, prompted a massive emergency response late Sunday night.

It happened at a home in the 8000 block of West Kirsch Rd. According to the Troy FD, firefighters were called at about 11:20 p.m. Sunday to the home and arrived to find it nearly fully engulfed in flames.

The FD said it received a report that someone had been trapped inside, but it could not confirm if the person got out or whether anyone else was inside the home.

5 On Your Side saw 2 coroner's vehicles at the scene.

Crews from the Maryville and O'Fallon, Illinois, FD assisted, and the Illinois State Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate the cause of the explosion.

Troy police and the Madison Co Sheriff's Office had roads closed off in the area due to the large-scale emergency response.

CLAREMONT, N.C. (WBTV) - An investigation is underway after a home exploded near Claremont.

The explosion and fire were reported on Wednesday, April 1, on Shook Road. Emergency personnel found two people with life-threatening injuries. Their 14-year-old daughter was able to make it out of the home.

Catawba County deputies and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation were working to learn what exactly happened--including whether allegations of explosive materials inside the home were true.

The house appeared to be a total loss, the inside and outside of the home charred. Two rooster statues on the sides of a ramp to the home were still standing after the explosion, the only two items that appeared not to have been singed.

The Catawba County Fire Marshal and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were also investigating.
