My question is regarding the YouTube strange sounds video posted by Gerard yesterday: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUdZGm476yA On the Strange Sounds blog I posted a response as follows: Not trying to discredit anyone on the Montana video/audio. I believe what is recorded. But I'd really be interested in Zeta feedback on it because it reminds me of what happened in Close Encounters of the Third Kind - the musical sounds that the spacecraft emitted. The sound produced in Missoula is what is called in music a major seventh chord. In the key of C it would be C-E-G-B; in this case with an extra underlying G as the first note. I have a hard time believing that anything in nature could create this without help - possibly ET help. The notes are played separately up the scale/chord and then down the scale/chord. Could the Zetas please comment on what the source might be?

Missoula lies in a valley between mountain ranges that are riddled with rivers draining the steep mountain sides. If Kiev has multi-tonal trumpets because the reservoir is vibrating, and Belarus has horns because the river there is vibrating, then why should Missoula be exempt? The regions where the vibrating Earth plays music are where water is being vibrated. Elsewhere, it sounds like a roar, like Godzilla rising from the sea and roaming the land. Noise is sound where every frequency is heard. Music is controlled such that harmonics, or coinciding or duplicating frequencies are heard.
That several distinct tones were heard in Missoula, each in turn, only means that the body of water producing them increased its frequency from tone to tone. In Kiev, chords were heard, as more than one arm of the reservoir was set to vibrating. The thrumming or fan beating sound that preceded the Missoula tones was the rock layers being pulled apart, as the N American continent is being pulled into a bow, as we have often explained. As the jerking apart and rebound of the underlying rock layers picked up the pace, the pitchof the music the nearby river produced climbed. Simple as that.

Where initially only a hum, and only in certain notorious parts of the world, rock under stress has become noisy. Known as the Taos hum, the sound of a diesel engine running somewhere underground was an early entry. Then the Seattle drums entered the arena, rhythmic booming which was ascribed to flapping manhole covers. Booms from snapping and heaving rock were reported in the New Madrid region and humming along the St. Lawrence Seaway increased.
But in 2011, it became clear that where we predicted that the Earth would moan during the 5.9 days of rotation stoppage, it was not going to be silent between then and now. The trumpets of Kiev and the horns of Belarus went viral on the Internet, followed quickly by a roar over Tampa Bay that sounded like Godzilla emerging from the sea. Now, in early 2012, this has spread to the drums of Costa Rica and the howl of Alberta and the Borneo snore.
Where is this leading? At least half the Earth, at any given point in time, will be having some sort of tension in its rock. Clapping and grinding fault lines, vibrating bodies of water, trembling rock strata resisting being pulled apart, and snapping rock under compression or being bent. All will be noisy, and the most likely reaction among those who hear it will be to conclude that the End Times have arrived. However known in various cultures around the world, allhave some reference to the coming times. The establishment will be unable to explain away these sounds, and once again the Internet will be sought and will lead inevitably to our explanations.

Ronny Quintero, a seismologist said the event should be studied at the exact time and location of the anomalies to determine with certainty that there was no earthquake. He added that depending on the location of those who claim they heard the rumble or ”The Hum” it is easy to dismiss the possibility of tectonic movements.
This news has rattled the social web whereas Costa Ricans and the world over are scrambling to figure out what this mysterious sound could have been. Authorities have yet to comment on the subject although OVSICORI, the Costa Rica Volcanologist and Seismologist Organization is saying there is no Earth movements recorded at the time of the strange sound.

There is a subset of the Caribbean Plate called the Panama Plate, though this subset moves as one with the Caribbean Plate. Nevertheless, there is a fault line running through Costa Rica, and during the incessant pressure of the slow moving S American roll fault lines can pull apart and bang back together again, like clapping. As the recent cold spells in India reveal, the N Pole of Earth is pushed violently away when the Sun is over New Zealand and the magnetic N Pole of Earth (currently over Siberia) comes up over the horizon. This equates to midnight in Costa Rica, which is when the drums were heard. Residents there should get used to these midnight drums, which will be with them for some time.

Just days following reports of toppled trees, cracked basements, a yawning sinkhole that is baffles a Syracuse neighborhood. Just a few miles north is Dewitt New York (along the Erie canal) today experiencing a loud boom causing the ground to shake.

DeWitt, N.Y. — From Syracuse to Fayetteville, dozens of Central New Yorkers felt their homes shake Monday (Oct.25).
One person said the pots on a wood stove rattled. Another person walking along the Erie Canal in DeWitt heard what sounded like an explosion, then emergency vehicles.
At least two people were so worried after hearing a loud boom near Lyndon Corners in DeWitt they called 911 at 12:02 p.m.
So, what was that noise and what caused the ground to shake?
It appears to have been blasting at the Jamesville quarry.
Hanson Aggregates, which operates the 1,800-acre Jamesville quarry at 4800 Jamesville Road, set off a blast right around noon — the same time the 911 calls came in, officials said.
The blast was planned, just like it is every week. Hanson Aggregates officials said they gave the DeWitt Fire Department a heads up, like they always do, just in case anyone called so firefighters knew what was happening.
After the 911 calls came in, DeWitt firefighters checked the area to make sure something else didn’t cause the loud noise. They found nothing.
National Weather Service detected nothing unusual happening around the time the explosion was heard.
“It definitely was not an earthquake,” National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Kistner said.
It wasn’t a meteor, he said. The last report of a meteor in the United States was two nights ago in Tennessee.
The best explanation, Kistner said, is that sound travels better when there are low clouds so more people heard the blast.
Around noon, the clouds were at about 800 feet at the Syracuse airport, according to the weather service. “That’s a fairly low ceiling,” Kistner said.
“With fog, sounds can get absorbed,” he said. “But with low clouds, what can sometimes happen is the sound waves can refract or bend. So if you have low-cloud cover, it can make the noise sound louder because of the way the sound waves bend.”
(My comment added: Both Areas listed below are well within the New Madrid Stretch Zone and have substantial bodies of Water. This seems to be the Establishment Lie going forward in CNY)
This is not the first time a quarry blast has caused confusion in Central New York. Exactly three years ago, a blast from a quarry in Skaneateles led to people thinking there was a sonic boom from military aircraft or an explosion. In October 2014, a blast at the Jamesville quarry appeared to have sounded louder than usual, prompting people to call 911.

A loud boom heard across New Orleans late Tuesday was not caused by a meteor, a NASA official says.
The mysterious noise was heard at about 11:15 p.m., and some residents said it shook their houses.
Bill Cook, a meteor specialist at NASA, said Wednesday the noise did not appear to be caused by a fireball or meteor: "I see nothing substantial over that area last night."
Cook leads NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office at Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. The office administers a Facebook page called NASA Meteor Watch that tracks fireballs across the United States.
Earlier this month, a loud boom was heard in part of Pennsylvania, and NASA said it was caused by a meteor exploding in the atmosphere, according to CNN. That appears not to be the case in New Orleans.
So what was the cause of Tuesday night's noise: explosion on the ground? sonic boom? earthquake? wild weather? Read on to learn what officials are saying.

First responders investigate
Several 911 calls were received about a "large boom/noise," but first responders could not confirm what caused it, a spokesperson for the New Orleans Police Department said. It remained under investigation.
New Orleans Fire Department told the same thing to WWL-TV.
Shaken houses
The noise was heard across metro New Orleans: Algiers Point, Arabi, Terrytown, Gentilly, Central City, Bywater, Irish Channel, Holy Cross, the lakefront. Some residents said it shook their houses.
Tim Erickson, a meteorologist who worked the overnight shift at the National Weather Service office in Slidell, said the agency had no reports of anything happening weather-wise that could make a loud noise like that.
"We've got nothing here," he said.
Sonic boom?
Could it have been a sonic boom from a jet, as social media users speculated?
Not from aircraft using Naval Air Station Joint Station Reserve Base New Orleans in Belle Chasse, said Micah Blechner, a mass communication specialist for the base. It had planes in the air earlier in the day, but all had landed by 7:30 p.m. and none was in the air at 11:15 p.m., he said.
Could it have been a jet from somewhere else? Maybe, but Erickson at the National Weather Service said those maneuvers are done deep over the Gulf of Mexico and usually can't be heard on shore.
Earthquake?
Nope. The U.S. Geological Survey, which monitors earthquake data as part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, had no reports of earthquakes near New Orleans late Tuesday.
Its online map, which shows quakes of 2.5 magnitude or greater, had the closest one in west Texas near the New Mexico border.

AN DIEGO – San Diegans reported hearing a loud boom and feeling some shaking similar to an earthquake Tuesday, but the source of the phenomenon was not immediately clear.
Dozens of tweets about the jolt came about 2:50 p.m., with many questioning whether what they’d felt was an earthquake. It was reported as being “very loud” in Poway and felt throughout the area from downtown San Diego to the South Bay.
“I think we had another earthquake, but could have been a sonic boom?” one Twitter user said. “I heard it more than felt it. #sandiego.”
It is unclear if an earthquake would have been the culprit, however. A small quake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.6 was recorded about 2:30 p.m. south of the border in Baja, California, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
Camp Pendleton released a noise advisory active from 6 a.m. until midnight Tuesday for both artillery and mortar rounds training at the base in North County. The result of those noise-generating events, which are planned this week through Friday, can be heard from a great distance.
Another Twitter user surmised it could have been the result of a plane off the coast that was “very close to the sound barrier” and headed in the direction of San Diego.

Did you hear the mysterious boom that rattled parts of Arizona?
A loud boom was heard across the Valley and police are still trying to figure out what caused it. AZ Family reported that many people in the east Valley say that they heard what sounded like a loud explosion in the early morning hours on Sunday, January 29th.
Many people were posting about the boom on social media, trying to get as much information about it as possible. Some people in Old Town Scottsdale even said that they felt a vibration when they heard the thunderous sound. Other people said that their houses shook, they saw a bright flashing light, and heard the sound of planes after the noise happened.
The cause of the loud noise is still unknown. Scottsdale police confirmed that they received several calls about the loud noise on Sunday morning around midnight.
According to police, there have been no reports of injuries following the mysterious boom, and there have also been no reports of any damage following the incident.
Scottsdale police are working hard to determine the cause of the noise. They are asking anyone with information about the sound to contact the non-emergency number at 480-312-5000.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - Many people in one east Valley city say they heard a loud boom or explosion early Sunday morning. Some took to social media saying they felt a vibration in Old Town Scottsdale. Others said their houses shook, and they saw a flash and heard planes shortly after the boom.
Andrew Chi and Andrew Spokes live in south Scottsdale near Hayden and Thomas roads. They were watching TV early Sunday morning when they heard the blast. “It was a very loud boom, like thunderous boom, house shaking, earth rattling,” said Chi. “It was just a horrendous boom like I jumped up out of my seat. It wasn’t like thunder, just a loud crash,” said Spokes.
There has been lots of speculation about what caused the boom. “My thought is something from the sky. If its a meteor, my googling says, they mostly explode before impacting the earth, so we are not going to find anything,” said Nicole Smith.
What caused this boom or where it came from is still unknown, but Scottsdale police confirmed with Arizona’s Family that they received multiple calls Sunday morning around midnight about the loud noise. Police say no injuries or damage were reported. Arizona’s Family also reached out to APS and SRP, and other utilities to see if they know about the big bang, but they are not aware of any damage or incidents.

Sometime after 10 o’clock Tuesday night, Corissa Bordner woke to a loud boom.
In Colbert, where she lives, it’s not uncommon to hear loud noises from the nearby railroad and, frequently, from neighbors shooting guns. She’s heard loud booms in the area before, but this one was different, she said.
“You could feel it.”
A second boom came about 10 minutes later that shook the windows of her house.
“The ones last night seemed really, really close, like it was in the backyard,” Bordner said Wednesday. “We hear gunshots a lot, and we heard the gunshots in between the two booms, but at 10 o’clock at night, that’s a little strange.”
Bordner wasn’t the only person who heard the noise. Hundreds of people reported hearing the noise on Spokane News, a Facebook page dedicated to scanner traffic and breaking news updates in the area. People from as far as 40 miles away from Colbert said they heard a loud boom at about the same time, too.

Florida - Palm Coast and Flagler County residents were abuzz with reports of a mysterious boom heard across parts of the county at 11:15 p.m. Thursday night. There were also unconfirmed reports of a fireball spotted in St. Johns County around the same time.
“Unfortunately we don’t know” what caused the boom, Jonathan Lord, Flagler County’s emergency management director, said this morning,” only have suspicions that it may have been [a] meteorite.”
Authorities in Flagler Beach and at the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office had no information on the incident. Nor did authorities at the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office. Both sheriff’s offices checked their call logs and found nothing. Bob Pickering, a weather specialist with the emergency management division, reported on the FlaglerWeather information page on Facebook this morning that “We still think it was a meteor entering the atmosphere.”
The National Weather Service in Jacksonville also received numerous reports, but could not pinpoint the cause. “We have not heard anything or seen any kind of evidence of a meteor or anything that passed by the Flagler area, but were told it was heard far inland as well,” a Weather Service spokesman said. A service camera pointed at the ocean, however, did not pick up a flash. The reports the Weather Service heard “sounds very much like a meteor entering the atmosphere, but we can’t say for certain” that that’s what it was.

SUSSEX COUNTY, N.J. - A mysterious noise stunned New Jersey residents last week.
Now we're hearing what it sounded like.
A home surveillance camera from Sussex County captured the noise.
Turns out, the sonic boom came from a military plane flying over the Atlantic Ocean.
It was felt and heard on land because of the weather and atmospheric conditions at the time.

OAKLAND, N.J. -- Questions are still being asked about the source of a loud noise that was heard across northern New Jersey.
Residents reported hearing an earth-shaking boom. But what was it?
Michael Mikulich was getting into his car Wednesday afternoon at a strip mall in Oakland when something didn't seem right.
"That's when I heard the boom," he said.
His service dog was by his side.
"She kind of put her ears back and looked at me, like 'Whoa, what was that?'" he said.
Barbara Beucler, from Franklin Lakes, said her frightened daughter called her.
"She was sitting in a room and she said she heard the lamp shake and she felt the house kind of move a little bit, and she didn't know what was going on," said Beucler.
The loud boom and vibration was heard across northern New Jersey at around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Hundreds of residents posted comments on a Volcano Discovery forum.
One said, " ... heard a loud noise that made us literally search the horizon for a mushroom cloud. We thought we were being bombed."
Some residents questioned if the sound came from a quarry in Riverdale just off Route 287 or the one in Mount Hope.

An explosion was heard over the weekend in Marshall County, Iowa, but it's mystery of where it came from.
Emergency management has reports of the blast around the same time on New Year's Eve for three years in a row.

Some said the bang was so powerful - it shook their windows.
The Marshall County Emergency Management is taking reports on its Facebook page. They say reports came from south of Ferguson and in State Center, but others in Melbourne, Laurel and Conrad say they heard it too.
"We heard this loud boom and we're both like, 'oh, people were starting off fireworks pretty early.' And then we heard... a few minutes or so later, another boom," Conrad witness Janann Beyer said.
Emergency management confirmed there was a large explosion on New Year's Eve. They're now looking for any connections to previous years' reports.

Were you woken up by any loud booms last night? Residents in New Hampshire reported the blaring sounds thinking it was their roof coming apart or a big earthquake. While this phenomenon may be strong enough to rattle houses and resemble an earthquake by shaking and producing loud sounds, frost quakes, or cryoseisms, happen at higher ground and fortunately don’t tend to cause big damage.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Video obtained by Action News shows the moment an apparent sonic boom rattled parts of South Jersey on Friday.
Many residents thought what they were feeling was an earthquake, but Action News confirmed it was likely just an aircraft with the Naval Air Station Patuxent River flying a few miles off the coast.
Video shows a resident's Ring camera shaking followed by thunderous booms.
The United States Geological Survey reported no earthquakes along the coast Friday.
Officials say the aircraft went supersonic during a training exercise, which is believed to be the cause.
