The Signs in the Sky caused by the tail of Nibiru can be confusing as they take many forms. We have for years had Second Sun sightings at Dawn and Dusk when Sunlight glints off the vast Dust Cloud of Nibiru – the angle just right to bounce the Sunlight to Earth. We have for years also had Neon Clouds, which are Petrol in the Sky burning when it encounters Oxygen in the Atmosphere. When Petrol has not yet lit, it can create a rainbow sheen on clouds or appear as a black mass if dense and large.
The temporary local Moon Eclipse occurred due to an unlit Petrol Mass was such an instance. This Eclipse was not universal but only seen locally, thus the mass was close to Earth. Red Dust will give burning Petrol a red color, but a mix of Red and Blue can produce a green color. Sky Glow occurs when Petrol burns on the upper atmosphere, producing a glow from horizon to horizon. Now that Nibiru is centering in front of the Sun, sunlight shines through the Vast Dust Cloud, illuminating the Nibiru Complex.

Daytime Fireball Explodes Over Croatia (Feb 28)
The shaking of the ground was not caused by the space rock hitting Earth. Instead, atmospheric shock waves from the explosion were responsible. Local astronomers are reportedly searching the area to see if fragments survived the descent and may be recovered as meteorites.
According to JPL's Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the energy of the explosion was approximately equal to 340 tons of TNT.

A meteorite has reportedly fallen near a Sahibabad railway station in the city of Ghaziabad, the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on March 5, 2020.
According to local media reports, the event took place during heavy rains. A loud thunder-like sound was heard before the object hit the ground, causing panic among locals.
City fire brigade officials said the object kept smoldering even after they doused the flames. Scientists who examined it suggested the material which fell from the sky seems to be sodium, as it gave rise to fumes when it came in contact with water.
Samples were sent to a laboratory in Lucknow for further testing.
Several residents said they saw three objects falling from the sky.

WATCH: Oregon and SW Washington see at least 2 fireballs in night sky
by KATU StaffThursday, March 5th 2020
PORTLAND, Ore. -- If you looked up at the sky last night, you may have seen a fireball visible from western Oregon and southwest Washington!
The American Meteor Society Fireball log says there were numerous reports on the night of March 4. The first one was reported around 7:15 p.m. due southeast.
A second fireball appeared around 12:50 a.m. early Thursday morning due westward. This second one was visible from the Oregon coast and Tacoma, WA.
"Weather then was partly cloudy over the valley. Reports like these are valuable to help determine reports of the fireball or meteor, and perhaps meteorite fragments if any," said Jim Todd, the Director of Space Science Education at OMSI.

Video Captures Asteroid Hitting Earth And Flashing Over Florida
03/16/20 AT 5:30 AM
KEY POINTS
A fireball event was spotted in Florida
Video shows the fireball fizzling out before disappearing
A small asteroid may have hit the Earth and caused the fireball event
Several residents in Florida spotted a bright meteor streaking across the sky. Video of the incident showed the object turning into a bright fireball before disappearing.
Eyewitness reports regarding the recent fireball event were compiled by the International Meteor Organization (IMO). In total, the organization received 25 reports from different areas across Florida, such as Tampa, Bay Lake, Davenport, Jacksonville and Palm Harbor.
According to the reports filed by the eyewitnesses, the fireball appeared on March 11 at around 8:00 pm EDT. Many of them noted that the object appeared for about 1.5 to 3.5 seconds long before disappearing. Some eyewitnesses claimed they heard a sizzling type of sound as the fireball streaked across the sky.
A resident named Chrissy S. from Palmetto, Florida, said that the fireball had a mostly orange color and looked like a burning piece of paper. She stated in her report that although she did not see the fireball explode, its brightness dimmed before disappearing in the sky.
“It was extremely bright. The brightness is what caught my eye,” she stated in her eyewitness report. “It was mostly orange. It did not explode, but it “fizzled out” into embers like a burning piece of paper. It was pretty amazing.”
The fireball event was captured on video by another Florida resident named Joseph G. from Lakeland. The video, which appears to have been captured via CCTV, was shared on YouTube by the American Meteor Society
Although the clip is only four seconds long, it was able to clearly show the fireball as it streaked across the sky. Similar to what Chrissy S. indicated in her report, the fireball appeared as a bright spherical object in the sky before fizzling out.
The object that caused the recent fireball event was most likely caused by a small asteroid that collided with Earth. As it entered the atmosphere, it turned into a meteor and started to burn up, transforming it into a bright fireball.
“As the size of these objects approach a millimeter, they begin to produce enough light to be seen upon entry to the upper atmosphere as ordinary meteors,” the IMO explained in a statement. “Due to the velocity at which they strike the Earth’s atmosphere, fragments larger than 1 millimeter have the capability to produce a bright flash as they streak through the heavens above.”

“Is It An Asteroid?” Nigerians Question Strange Explosion In Akure
28 March 2020 Earlier in the month of March, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that an asteroid will fly over the earth. This asteroid was referred to as large and potentially hazardous.
The asteroid called 2012 XA133 was set to pass Earth on Thursday, March 26 [March 27 in Nigeria] at a speed of 53,000mph. However, with a note of assurance, NASA said that the Earth will not be affected.
“As they orbit the Sun, NEOs [Near Earth Object] can occasionally approach close to Earth.
“Note that a ‘close’ passage astronomically can be very far away in human terms: millions or even tens of millions of kilometres.”
However, Nigerians located in Akure were alert the early hours of this morning after a loud noise that shook the whole town was heard in Akure, destroying some buildings located in the Eleyowo community in the town. Eleyowo located a kilometre away from the Akure airport, saw a large number of buildings including churches and a school affected by the explosion.
Amidst speculations on what the noise is, some have reported that it was a truck carrying explosives that exploded, while some have raised questions about the asteroid.
Was it an asteroid? Was it an explosion? Different questions have been posed and below are some reactions:

Bolide Fireball Events
As seen in the videos, the fireball produced a bright flash right before it disappeared in the sky. This suggests that the object may have detonated and fragmented before hitting the ground. According to the American Meteor Society (AMS), fireballs caused by small asteroids that hit Earth, which then become meteors. Those that explode right before disappearing are referred to as bolides.
"A fireball is another term for a very bright meteor, generally brighter than magnitude -4, which is about the same magnitude of the planet Venus as seen in the morning or evening sky," the AMS explained. "A bolide is a special type of fireball which explodes in a bright terminal flash at its end, often with visible fragmentation."

Meteor falls in Ecuador: videos of the moment of impact in Guayas
https://www.metroecuador.com.ec/ec/noticias/2020/04/23/meteorito-ca...
Thursday April 23, 2020,
The morning of this Thursday, April 23, a meteorite fall was reported in the canton of El Empalme, Guayas. Purples of the sector captured the moment the space rock hit.
In a first recording it is observed as a product of the shock against the Earth's surface, a blue light is emitted, which illuminated the still dark dawn. An anti-explosive team from the GIR went to Puerto El Mono 1 in Guayas to verify the presence of a space rock that fell at 04:00 this morning.
The chemical engineer, Holger Naranjo of the Undersecretariat for Control and Nuclear Applications of the Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources also attended the meteorite inspection.
Precisely the authorities confirmed that it is a space rock. Locals previously showed the size of the rock and the size of the impact.
Using a radiation meter, the rock was scanned, resulting in a range of 0.09 Sievert / hour, which according to the expert is normal and does not represent any risk to life. Criminalistics staff carried out the respective fixing and lifting of the evidence

Natchez resident spots otherworldly fireball streaking across the sky
Published 4:18 pm Monday, May 11, 2020
For one Natchez resident, a late-night trip out of his house turned into an otherworldly experience when he spotted a bright orange fireball streak across the sky.
“It scared the heck out of me,” Alex Sandel said Monday morning. “It was bright orange, red and spinning.”
Living near Merit Health Natchez, Sandel said he has stepped outside to watch a helicopter take off from the hospital’s helipad Sunday evening at approximately 10:15 when he was startled by the fireball streaking across the sky.
“I was outside waiting for the helicopter to take off when I saw this thing coming,” Sandel said. “It came from the north and went straight south.”
Sandel said the fireball was traveling at a slow enough speed for him to reach his phone to capture an image of the flying object.
“It wasn’t any faster than a jet,” Sandel said.
Monday morning Sandel said he did some research online and believes what he saw was part of a meteorite that was streaking across the sky.
Data collected on the American Meteor Society show that several fireball sightings were made Sunday night in Mississippi and Louisiana between Como, Mississippi, and Harahan, Louisiana, were reported at approximately the same time Sandel reported his fireball sighting. Those sightings are pending confirmation by the AMS.

Meteor sighting: Fireball lights up skies over middle America in stunning video
A HUGE fireball shot through the skies of middle America, producing a large blast which mesmerised spectators recently.
PUBLISHED: 22:10, Wed, May 20, 2020 | UPDATED: 06:59, Thu, May 21, 2020
The International Meteor Organisation (IMO) received dozens of reports of a fireball, which lit up the skies above Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota. One person's security camera picked up the sighting, which showed a bright object falling towards Earth.
Brett reported to the IMO: "The feeling of having witnessed this was incredible."
Vivian added: "It was an amazing site [sic] to behold. It appeared and then seemed to disappear for a second Or two and then reappeared it then disappeared again."
An unnamed person said: "Amazing sight! Never seen anything like this before! Most beautiful super bright blue I have ever seen!"
Asteroids and meteors produce a bright explosion of fire when they hit the atmosphere as it is the first time the space rock has ever met resistance.
Air seeps into the pores and cracks of the rock, pushing it apart and causing it to explode.
The IMO said: “Fireballs are meteors that appear brighter than normal.
“Due to the velocity at which they strike the Earth’s atmosphere, fragments larger than one millimetre have the capability to produce a bright flash as they streak through the heavens above.
“These bright meteors are what we call fireballs and they often strike fear and awe for those who witness them.”
While this meteor was small, the bright flash reiterates the need for eyes on the skies to watch out for potential asteroid collisions.
While the chances of a major asteroid hitting Earth are small – NASA believes there is a one in 300,000 chance every year a space rock which could cause regional damage will hit – the devastating prospect is not impossible.
However, there are some plans on the go which could help Earth against potential asteroid strikes.
NASA is currently studying Asteroid Bennu, where its OSIRIS-Rex spacecraft arrived in 2018.
Part of the reason NASA is sending the OSIRIS-Rex spacecraft there is to gather more information about the space rock which is 1,640ft (500m) in length.
NASA fears the asteroid, which has the potential to wipe out a country on Earth, could hit our planet within the next 120 years, with the next close flyby in 2135.
The mission will give vital information on how to deflect asteroids from their collision course with Earth, but NASA reiterates while there is a small chance Earth could be impacted, “over millions of years, of all of the planets, Bennu is most likely to hit Venus".

Space junk streaks across Australian skies as a bright, flaming fireball
May 22, 2020
Residents of southeastern Australia and Tasmania witnessed a fantastic sight in the sky Friday night, as fireball blazed by overhead.
Thomas Toose, a farmer in Creswick, Victoria, northwest of Melbourne, called the sight "surreal" and told Storyful it "was massive and lasted about 20 seconds."
Assumed, at first glance, to be a meteor - the bright light caused by a chunk of rock or ice plunging into the atmosphere after floating through space for billions of years. Instead, though, it turned out to be something with a more mundane, Earthly origin.
A screencap of the video captured by farmer Thomas Toose of the May 22, 2020 fireball over Victoria, Australia. Insert: a close-up, brighter view. Credit: Thomas Toose/Storyful/Reuters
After scrutinizing the video footage of the fireball, skywatchers and scientists alike noted a few details that set this apart from your typical meteor fireball.
First, it was travelling very slowly by comparison. When a meteoroid enters Earth's atmosphere from space, it is typically travelling at speeds of between 11 and 72 kilometres per second (40,000 km/h to 260,000 km/h). So, the meteor produced appears to flash by in only a few seconds. Often, this isn't even enough time to grab your cellphone and record the event. Only cameras that are already running and pointing the right direction - webcams, security cameras and dashboard cameras - tend to capture them.
Second, the colour of the fireball, as well as the obvious disintegration seen from it, would have been fairly unusual for a meteoroid. Meteor fireballs usually flash bright white, with maybe a slight tinge of colour (blue, green, yellow). The exact colour depends on its speed, the atmospheric gases it is compressing, and what kind of minerals or metals might be vaporizing off the meteoroid's surface. In this case, the fireball is glowing orange-white and is trailing visible flames and smoke.
From left to right, the appearance of the fireball changed from beginning to end, with glowing/flaming debris breaking away as it passed through the air. Credit: Thomas Toose/Storyful/Reuters/Scott Sutherland
Some larger space rocks do break apart as they pass through the air. These fragmentations always follow an extremely bright 'bolide' flash from the object, and the smaller fragments quickly wink out. Here, the debris is still visible for some time after breaking away from the object.

What Was That Bright Green Fireball Falling From the Sky?
Published May 29, 2020 • Updated on May 29, 2020 at 7:08 am
A North Texas family's home security camera was recording when a giant fireball fell from the sky Thursday night.
Samantha Deann Pinson shared the video pointed at her driveway in Burleson, which showed the green ball of light streak across the frame.
"Was that a #meteorite falling to earth somewhere over #Mesquite or Balch Springs, TX? It was bright green and then disappeared as it fell to earth!" one person wrote on Twitter. Other social media users from East Texas and Arkansas reported seeing the bright green ball of light crossing the night sky.
According to NASA, meteoroids enter Earth’s atmosphere at high speed and burn up, the fireballs or “shooting stars” are called meteors. When a meteoroid survives a trip through the atmosphere and hits the ground, it’s called a meteorite.

Brilliant fireball lights up skies over Tennessee (video)
June 8 2020
A meteor lit up the night sky over Tennessee and neighboring states late Sunday (June 7), sparking 120 fireball sightings across 12 different states and Canada.
The fireball occurred at 9:42 p.m. EDT (0142 GMT) and blazed a trail over southern Ohio, according to a ground track by the American Meteor Society. It was visible for up to 3.5 seconds from as far south as South Carolina and as far north as Ontario, Canada, AMS reported.
One witness video shows the fireball from Knoxville, Tennessee, as the meteor flares up in a dazzling streak and disappear seconds later.
"Fireball caught over Knoxville, TN last night," AMS representatives wrote on Twitter alongside the video. "This fireball has been [seen] from IL, IN, KY, MD, MI, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, WV & Ontario!"
The video, which lasts about 2 seconds, was captured by witness Austin R. from a moving vehicle.
We're currently in between major meteor showers at the moment, with the Eta Aquarids of May behind us and August's Perseid meteor display still ahead. But there is still some general meteor activity to look out for. The AMS has a guide of current meteor forecasts from June 6 to June 12 here.

Mysterious blue fireball streaks above Western Australia, puzzling astronomers
6/16/2020
The strange fireball was caught on video.
A streak of blue light that flashed across the sky on Monday surprised western Australia's night owls and befuddled the astronomy community.
The blue fireball was seen at 1 a.m. local time on June 15, according to ABC News Pilbara. "It was really a spectacular observation," Glen Nagle, the education and outreach manager at the CSIRO-NASA tracking station in Canberra, told the news agency. Sightings were reported across the remote Pilbara region as well as in the country's Northern Territory and in South Australia, Nagle said.
Many observers caught the phenomenon on video. The fireball streaks steadily across the sky. At first, it appears orange or yellow, with a short tail streaming behind it. After a few seconds, the bulk of the fireball lights up blue.
Scientists aren't quite sure what object was burning up in the atmosphere to create the brilliant light show, according to ABC News. Some amateur astronomers speculated that the object could be human-made debris, perhaps from a recent rocket launch. But that seems unlikely, Renae Sayers, a research ambassador at Curtin University's Space Science and Technology Centre, told the news agency.
When space junk reenters the atmosphere, "what we tend to see is sort of like crackles and sparks," Sayers said. "This is due to the fact that there is stuff burning up — so you've got solar panels going all over the place, you've got hunks of metal moving around."
The fireball over Pilbara, on the other hand, glided smoothly through the sky. That makes it more likely to be a natural space object. The blue color, according to Nagle, indicates a high iron content. Many meteorites — space rocks that survive their fiery trip through Earth's atmosphere — are high in iron. Some may be the cores of ancient asteroids, according to the Natural History Museum in the U.K.
Sayers said that the fireball looked similar to another spectacular meteor sighted in Australia in 2017. That 2017 fireball whooshed across the sky, but instead of hitting the ground or burning up in the atmosphere, it bounced back into space. The June 15 fireball may have been another grazing encounter, she told ABC News.
Meteors bright enough to be classified as fireballs are rare, but encounters with space rocks are common. According to NASA, about 48.5 tons (44,000 kilograms) of meteor material falls on Earth every day. Most space rocks disintegrate entirely or are the size of a pebble by the time they make it through Earth's atmosphere. Occasionally, one makes a truly spectacular entrance: In February 2013, a meteor that would become known as the Chelyabinsk meteor entered the atmosphere over Russia and exploded in the biggest space blast since the 1908 Tunguska explosion. The explosion blew out windows in buildings in six different cities.

Several Witnesses Saw a Massive Fireball Streak Across the Night Sky of Southern US
30 June 2020, 4:29 am EDT
In the early morning of June 19, in several southern US states, including Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, several eyewitnesses reported the same thing: a bright flash in the sky followed by a booming sound.
What they saw was a massive fireball streaking over the sky in a breathtaking astronomical event.
A massive fireball in the sky
According to a report by BGR, the fireball was quite massive, which is why it was visible across several states in the southern United States. And now, scientists are compiling all the reports from the regions where it was visible.
Experts from the American Meteorological Society (AMS) have already compiled nearly two dozen reports of this single event as they are tasked with tracking every sighting of various objects in the sky across the country.
For those who weren't lucky enough to see the massive fireball, AMS was able to acquire a couple of videos that are now available to view so you can at least see what the lucky stargazers have seen. There's also a single photo from the same event taken by one of the witnesses.
Caught on Camera
Based on the video that is now uploaded on YouTube, it's hard to miss the fireball if you're outside as the sky glowed quite brightly when the fireball streaked through the sky.
Additionally, it lasted for a good few seconds, and if we're to look at the compilation from the AMS, eyewitnesses would say it lasted around five seconds or so.
In the video, the fireball glowed a bright green glow, and after a second or two, it exploded and burned brighter before the light faded in a couple of heartbeats.
Eyewitnesses even heard a booming sound, which they described as a "cannon," as the space rock exploded into tiny pieces. And if some of those small rocks have survived the nasty fall from space into Earth's atmosphere, they might have reached the surface.
It won't be surprising that some meteorite hunters have begun the search for even a tiny piece of the space rock and with plans to offer it to experts or museums for an extra buck.
Breaking into tiny pieces
One witness from Oklahoma even said to the AMS that he saw the giant fireball break into two pieces right after it exploded in the atmosphere. He was also able to capture the event which was published by the AMS. Fortunately, there weren't any reports of damages or injuries that occurred from the event.
A few days before the event in the southern US, witnesses from western Australia were also able to see a fireball in the sky, which some were also able to capture a video of. According to experts, the fireball might have been a distant asteroid.
Earlier this month, a huge asteroid also zoomed in between the Earth and the Moon, which is exceptionally close and might have caused a catastrophe in the event it collided with the planet. In a past report by Tech Times, experts were only able to discover the asteroid a couple of days after it passed by us.

Giant fireball seen streaking across Colorado sky
July 28 2020
A giant fireball soared across the night sky just west of Denver on Tuesday evening, surely sending chills and confusion down the viewers' spines.
9NEWS shared a video of the fireball captured by Erik Velez. It has been revealed to be what scientist Naomi Paquette is describing as "a bright meteor, a large chunk of space rock that’s falling through the earth’s atmosphere."
In the video, the stargazers can be heard gasping while saying, "What is that? Oh my god," as a blazing bright fireball streaks across the night sky.
While it may seem strange, the giant fireball was likely caused by the peak of two meteor showers, the Alpha Capricornids (active from July 3rd to August 15th), and Southern Delta Aquariids (active from July 12th to August 23rd). The double peak of the showers, from Tuesday evening into the early morning hours of Wednesday, could explain the rare phenomenon.
These meteors may have also even left some debris behind in some areas of Golden. Read more about that here with 9NEWS.

UFO? Fireball seen in Minnesota sky for 'about 3 minutes'
A mysterious fireball was seen in the sky above the Twin Cities Monday evening.
"We saw it at exactly 8:16 p.m. while sitting in our north-facing apartment in New Hope, and it only lasted in our view for about 3 minutes," Aaron VanDanacker told Bring Me The News. "My partner, Carlye Felton, spotted it first and said, 'oh my gosh, that looks terrifying.'"
VanDanacker said a friend of his also saw the fireball from Maple Grove. Another Minnesota resident tweeted several images of it.
"It looked like a giant asteroid or comet because it had a long, wide fiery tail, that also got shorter and shorter as the comet-looking fireball left our sight," VanDanacker said.
What was it? If there is an answer, it has yet to be confirmed.
"It doesn't look like a plane to me," said Patrick Hogan, director of communications with the Metropolitan Airports Commission.

Like a full moon: 2nd fireball since July 2 dazzles Japan’s skies
August 22, 2020 at 16:45 JST
A spectacular fireball lit up the sky over the Kanto region around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 21.
Experts speculated that the meteor came in over the Pacific in Kanagawa Prefecture and fell on the southern part of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture next to Tokyo.
A camera set up in Yokohama by Atom tech. Inc., a company that develops network camera apparatus, captured the dazzling fireball in all its glory.
Daichi Fujii, a curator at the Hiratsuka City Museum, said it was as bright as a full moon.
After analyzing multiple images, Fujii believes the fireball was a chunk of asteroid that broke off from orbit near Jupiter and probably did not burn out.
It was the second such fireball seen over the Kanto region since one in the early hours of July 2.
Later, meteorite fragments were found in two the Chiba Prefecture cities of Narashino and Funabashi.
The National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo has applied to register them as “Narashino inseki (meteorite).”

Fireball BOOMS over USA: 'Most incredible thing I have ever seen in the sky'
PUBLISHED: 22:32, Tue, Aug 25, 2020
A FIREBALL which was seen across four different states in the US has been described as "the most incredible thing I have ever seen in the sky".
PUBLISHED: 22:32, Tue, Aug 25, 2020
Residents of Missouri, Illinois, Iowa and Michigan all reported seeing a bright fireball blasting through the sky on August 19. Stunned onlookers spotted the astronomical phenomenon, and headed in their droves to the website of the International Meteor Organisation (IMO) to report their sightings.
Chris said: "It came straight down on a vertical trajectory and slowed down as it approached the tops of the tree line, very bright green with bright white sparks coming off it. Amazing sighting!
Timothy added: "It was so bright that we could see it from inside the house with all the lights on.
"It lasted long enough to alert another person to turn around and look at it and they saw it for several seconds."

Fireball In The Sky: Social Media Lights Up With Reports Of Giant Meteor Across The East Coast
PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) – Did you see it?
Early on Wednesday morning, several social media users in Pittsburgh and up and down the East Coast say they saw a bright flash of light and a streak in the sky.
The flash of light occurred just before 6:30 a.m. A trucker driving along I-76 in Pennsylvania was able to capture video of the flash from their dashcam.
The American Meteor Society, a nonprofit group, said it received more than 200 reports of a bright fireball over eastern Ohio. Robert Lunsford, a society official, said the fireball was most likely a random meteor not associated with any known meteor shower.
It takes an object only the size of a softball to create a flash as bright as the full moon, Lunsford said. This object was probably a bit larger, Lunsford said, but more analysis would be needed to determine its size.
KDKA spoke to a science writer who explained the fireball was most likely a meteor falling toward earth. While meteors aren’t rare, seeing one, especially one this bright, doesn’t happen often.
“We saw a really exceptional meteor, which is when a piece of debris from outer space, either rock or metal, hits the atmosphere,” said science writer Ralph Crewe.
Crewe says the speed of the meteor is what caused it to heat so quickly, and being able to see large fireballs like this one is rare.
“They actually happen pretty frequently but not usually in over-populated areas. Most of the earth is the ocean, so we’re lucky to get to see one like this,” he told KDKA’s Lisa Washington.
The American Meteor society said preliminary reports show the fireball traveled from southeast to northwest and ended its flight somewhere over North Benton, Ohio — about 77 miles from Pittsburgh.
The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh said it was aware of the reports but had no information.
Officials at the University of Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Observatory did not immediately comment.

The story behind the fireball that lit up the sky Wednesday morning
CLEVELAND — A bright flash of light streaked across the pre-dawn sky on Wednesday morning. A meteor, or small piece of space rock, struck the Earth's atmosphere at 6:24 a.m. EDT. The bright flash was observed at over 700 locations in 15 states. Sightings of this shooting star came in from the big cities along the East Coast, as far west as Chicago and Michigan, and as far south as South Carolina. Needless to say, it got a lot of attention.
Based on these reports, scientists estimate any leftover chunks of this celestial visitor likely landed somewhere in Eastern Ohio, just south of Youngstown. The image shows the likely landing location of any small chunk of rock, somewhere between Salem in Columbiana County and East Liverpool.
"Based on previous, I would estimate size, something which would fit on your hand," said Jay Reynolds, a professor in the Physics department at Cleveland State University.
He also believes this shooting star likely contained magnesium based on the observed brightness.
Meteor showers are a common sight around the world. Most shooting stars are the size of a grain of sand. Some, however rarely, can be much larger and more destructive.
Back in 2013, a meteor exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia. The loud explosion blew out every pane of glass in the city resulting in 1,400 injuries. That meteor was estimated to be 56 feet in diameter, weighing 10,000 metric tons.

A meteor-like object green in color shot through the state of Michigan earlier today. Spotted by residents in Detroit, Lansing and even Grand Rapids, the green colored fireball shot over our state in a matter of seconds before it hurled itself through six states.
The green speedy object was caught on video by one observer.
Astronomers are guessing its a nickel based fireball. In Meteor terminology, a fireball is defined as a meteor brighter than the planet Venus. Sometimes mistaken for a Bolide, which is the light emitted from a meteoroid or asteroid as it explodes in the atmosphere, the fireball doesn't explode but is so bright it appears as if it is exploding. Many witnesses reported expecting to hear an explosion after it shot through the skies above them.
Several thousand fireball-like meteors occur in earth's atmosphere almost daily so its quite shocking that they are not reported more often. Fireballs during daylight and over vast amounts of uninhabited oceans and rural areas are probably the reasons they are not reported more often.
You can report it to the American Meteor Society who make a living collecting meteor reports. Their goal is to get multiple reports and then be able to assemble a trajectory path that the fireball has taken. Don't be alarmed if you hear a huge noise accompanied by the sighting. Sonic booms and electrophonic sounds are all to familiar with the passing of larger fireballs.

Meteorite Lights up Sky Above Mexico As Hurricane Delta Hits and Earthquakes Strike Country
10/7/20 AT 12:23 PM EDT
A
fireball was spotted in the night sky above north-eastern Mexico on Tuesday, as Hurricane Delta made landfall in the Yucatán Peninsula and several minor earthquakes struck the country.
The fireball was most visible above the states of Nuevo León, Coahuila and Tamaulipas, which border the U.S., around 10:14 p.m. local time, according to the Global Atmospheric Monitoring Agency—part of Mexico's Institute of Geological and Atmospheric Research.
Some amazed eyewitnesses—as well as some security cameras, webcams and doorbell camss—managed to capture footage of the fireball as it blazed through the atmosphere
Cameras in Monterrey—the state capital of Nuevo León—captured images of the fireball briefly illuminating the night sky above the city
https://twitter.com/webcamsdemexico/status/1313718598846869505?ref_...
Fireballs are unusually bright meteors—the streaks of light that appear in the sky when small pieces of asteroids or comets enter the Earth's atmosphere and burn up. If these objects avoid completely disintegrating and manage to reach the ground they are known as meteorites
Local reports suggest that the meteorite fell near Ciudad Victoria, the capital of the state of Tamaulipas. Mexican news outlet Milenio reported that the meteorite set fire to bushes in the area where it fell, with local firefighter teams responding to the incident.
The fall of the meteorite came as Hurricane Delta made landfall in Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula, bringing winds of around 110 miles per hour.
The Category 2 hurricane struck the coast in between the popular tourist resorts of Cancún and Playa del Carmen, accordion to the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC.)
The NHC has said that Delta will bring a "life-threatening storm surge" and "dangerous winds" to parts of the northern Yucatán into early Wednesday morning. This could lead to significant flash flooding that will affect the northern part of the peninsula through early Thursday.
After passing the Yucatán, Delta is predicted to move northwards toward the U.S. Gulf Coast as it grows in size, "where there is an increasing likelihood of life-threatening storm surge and dangerous hurricane-force winds beginning Friday, particularly for portions of the Louisiana coast," the NHC said.
In addition to these natural phenomena, Mexico was also struck by several earthquakes on Wednesday, with 14 measuring 4.0 or more in magnitude on the Richter scale. The most powerful of these, which struck in the southern state of Oaxaca, had a magnitude of 4.3, which is classified as a "light" earthquake. These are often felt but only cause minor damage.
Mexico is one of the most seismically active countries in the world, located at the meeting point of three large tectonic plates—vast chunks of the Earth's crust. The movement of these plates leads to earthquakes and volcanic activity.
In fact, in the past three months Mexico has experienced an average of just over 30 earthquakes above magnitude 1.0 every day, according to Volcano Discovery.
