A South Carolina firefighter responding to a call at 1:23 a.m. on January 12, 2012, reports watching a "very large, slow moving, cigar-shaped craft" just above the treetops and less than 400 feet away, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness described the silent object.

"The sky was clear and the moon was almost full, so when I grabbed my night vision gen3 monocle it was hard to see the craft clearly, but I could see no wings - only the fuselage," the witness stated. "The body of the craft or fuselage was abnormally long and appeared to be at least twice the length of any aircraft I've ever seen and I've dealt with many different aircraft as I was once in the USAFs Crash Rescue Team."

The witness described the object's lighting.

"It did not have standard aircraft light markings. Its lights seemed backwards. The red blinking/pulsating light was on the front and it had two white, dimmer lights on the rear."

The object moved away from the witness.

"Within a minute it was across my yard and into a very large, open field area and as I left my house enroute to the emergency call I looked to my left across the field and it was gone. It should have been very visible at the slow speed it traveled, which was almost a hover or landing speed."

The witness is very familiar with many types of aircraft and did not recognize this object.

"I have seen many military aircraft over the years and Emergency Medical Life Flights come over my house very low, but nothing like this, and you can hear them for miles. This thing was silent. Also no other aircraft in the area."

No images or videos were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on January 12, 2012. No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the report. The above quotes were edited for clarity.

A UFO was reported moving over Michigan’s state capital January 7, 2012 — no noticeable lights, no chem trail

A Lansing, MI, witness driving east on Michigan Avenue reports watching a cigar-shaped object with no visible lights, tail, wings or contrail, according to January 7, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

At 2:45 pm on 1/5/2012, I was driving East on Michigan Avenue in Lansing, MI when I looked up out my front windshield and saw a reflective object in the sky. I continued to watch the object as it was heading NW coming from a SE direction. I turned North onto Waverly Road and continued to watch the object realizing that it had no lights, wings, tail, no chem trail or sound and did not waiver from its path.

It appeared to be a cigar shaped, white, reflective object. During my 30 minute lunch hour from work, I was able to visibly observe over 5 commercial jet liners that were clearly at 30,000 ft or higher and flying from W to E or E to W. There were chem trails everywhere yesterdayThe object that I observed did not have any chem trail.

Lansing has an airport north off of Waverly Road and the object did not seem the least bit interested in the airport. In fact, I watched the object continue on its slow and steady path NW until it was a white speck–perhaps heading in the northern Illinois direction.

I was disappointed that it went out of view so quickly, but I am also with the feeling that it will not be the last time we will see them. It almost seemed to be on a mission heading somewhere directly.

A Washington witness just east of Mt. Baker reports watching "three balls of light in a triangle formation" that eventually formed a straight line, pulsated three times and disappeared on January 11, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

"I live on a lake under a set of mountains just west of Mt. Baker south/southeast of Bellingham Washington, Reed Lake/Cain Lake," the witness stated. "I walked out to my porch which I frequent often, and it faces west looking over the lake up to the mountains. On the top of the mountain just at tree line were three balls of light, clearly larger than any star."

The witness is certain the lights were not from a plane or any structure on the mountain.

"Being a helicopter pilot, and knowing the specific routes flying over my house I knew these lights were not a plane. Also I know for a fact there is no tower or structure that would be on top of the mountain there."

A Jonesville, VA, witness reports watching a silent, black, slender, triangle-shaped object with two pulsating orb lights and one orange-red center light that moved overhead between 5,000 and 15,000 feet, according to January 12, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness was on State Route 646 near Ben Hurs Millers Creek Cemetery between 6:50 and 7:05 p.m. on January 10, 2011, when the incident occurred.

"Its duration of flight above me lasted at least 5-7 minutes," the witness stated. 

No images or videos were included in the MUFON report. Jonesville is the county seat of Lee County, population 995. The above quotes were edited for clarity.

Webcam catches UFO over NYC Jan 9, 2012

An Arizona witness reports watching a "silver colored UFO with a dome and brass colored ports hovering over the Colorado River" during an incident on January 12, 2012, with 20 minutes of missing time, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness began a walk around an RV park at 4:11 p.m. and soon encountered the object in the sky between 700 and 800 feet in altitude above the river.

"It was silver with a dome that had brassy portholes on it," the witness stated. "It was about 40-50 feet in diameter."

The witness described the object's movement.

"It began to slide slowly to the south. I watched it for about a minute, maybe a few seconds longer before accelerated and disappeared."

The witness is aware of how long the walk takes and estimates there was missing time during the event.

"When I arrived back home, it was 4:33 p.m. I was missing about 20 minutes."

This is the fourth case in three days where a cigar-shaped UFO was reported in the Eastern U.S. This case from Tennessee includes a witness video of the object as it was moving away. Credit: MUFON database.

The woman described the object she saw at 3:41 p.m.
 
"It made no sound whatsoever. It looked very white and cigar-shaped. When I first spotted the object it was flying much lower and extremely slow, if at all, then it went straight up and continued to move slow (enough time for me to capture this video) and then took off in about two seconds across the sky out of my vision."

Close encounters of the Home Counties kind: Two 'alien aircraft' si...

They hover in close formation against the backdrop of a cloudy Kent sky.

The two mysterious bright lights were photographed on January 6 floating over Chatham.

Less than a week later four similar lights were seen over Essex, shining brightly against the dawn.

The remarkable sightings were made just 30 miles apart in an area now dubbed the country's UFO hotspot.

The first image was captured by Ernestas Griksas, 21, who was taking a picture of a cherry-picker outside his home in Chatham at around 1pm.

The second sighting came last Friday at 7am when car salesman Josh Cummins spotted four bright objects in the sky as he drove to work through Loughton, in Essex

A space object, that resembles a human, has entered the atmosphere of the Deir Simbel village, located about 35 kilometres from Idlib and halfway between Jericho and Ma’arrat Naman, where it was flying at a speed approximately 40 kmph.

Syria News obtained a copy of a dispatch from Idlib Police Headquarters to the Department of Operations (Criminal Inspection). It cited witnessed who reported seeing a ‘space object’ spinning and hovering in the village sky, coming from the atmosphere of Sarjeh and then heading towards Ahsem and from there to Kafr Nabil. They said that is was rising and falling above the olive and fig trees.

According to the dispatch, the eyewitnesses completed their description of the ‘space object’ by saying that it was about 125cm long and 40cm wide, it was wearing black clothes and had a red spot on its chest and a helmet on its head. There was a bulge on its chest and back which suggested the presence of a device to help it fly. They pointed out that it was “moving itself in spirals, bending its feet and raising its arms and they did not hear the sound of any torpedo or mechanical engine”.

South Carolina witness reports multiple spheres and triangle object

A South Carolina witness reports watching 10 spheres "moving erratically with flashing white lights and a low flying triangle-shaped object, according to January 26, 2012, testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The reporting witness was first alerted to the objects by a phone call from a friend who lived 20 miles away.

"I went outside and to the west I saw about 10 spheres moving erratically with flashing white lights," the witness stated. "These lights moved in all directions including around each other. The night sky was so clear it was only the second time I was able to see Milky Way with bare eyes."

The witnesses' wife joined him outside and two minutes later they observed another object.

"She pointed out a large triangle-shaped object with three lights on each tip. The object was only a quarter-mile above the ground and it was traveling very slowly and noiseless."

An interesting report today from Long View, NC...wish there was a video

A Long View, NC, witness reports observing a 100-foot-long, oval-shaped object flying under 200 feet that moved over Highway 70, turned, "shrank to a black dot and then disappeared as if it shot forward at an impossible speed about 11:15 a.m. on January 30, 2012, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.

The witness had just turned onto westbound Highway 70 when the object was first noticed and assumed to be an airplane moving just above the high tension power lines between 150 and 200 feet in the air and traveling left to right.

"I first thought the object was an airplane coming from the nearby Hickory Airport," the witness stated. "I did wonder why it was so low and that caught my attention."

The witness described the object.

"The object was oblong, oval, maybe 100 feet long and bulged in the middle to maybe 30-40 feet at the center. The sun was behind me and glaring off the craft and I thought at first that the sun's glare was hiding the wings. The object was whitish in color but seemed to reflect the sun like metal."

Photographs taken at Neumayer Station in Antarctica on January 31, 2012 show an anomaly in the sky that is being called a UFO. Time lapse images of the area show a dark gray object as it broke away from the clouds above Neumayer Station.

This UFO sighting in Antarctica was reported by Jfingerskeys who speculated whether the strange sight was actually a UFO or just an unusual cloud formation.

Lenticular clouds have been mistaken for unidentified flying objects in the past, but they tend to have a flatter lens-shaped appearance.  The UFO in Antarctica was thicker in the center with defined edges.

Lenticular clouds commonly form above mountains or mountain ranges. Although there are mountain ranges in Antarctica, these geographic features are not present where the Neumayer Station UFO was photographed.

One of the many webcams aimed at New York City's streets and skies recently exposed several unusual anomalies that make it appear as though there was UFO activity over the city on Tuesday. The timestamp on the images clearly shows that they were taken on January 31, 2012.

The UFO activity spotted on Wired New York's webcam was reported by 1coeurdelumiere. This prolific YouTube user has scores of videos that allegedly show unidentified flying objects in the sky. Many of those videos are composed of images compiled from webcams.

Wired New York's webcams refresh every 30 seconds. The images in question came from Wired New York Webcam in Orion, Manhattan. The view is looking east, towards New York Cruise Terminal and Midtown Manhattan.

STONEFIELD BEACH, Ore. – A dog fixed this strange metal box in a blue-eyed vise here at Stonefield Beach Feb. 6 after a weekend filled with what locals call intense UFO sightings.

A dog’s eyes leaving his face for the flutter of a moment made locals here at Stonefield Beach feel even more at ease late Feb. 6 after dog after dog barked and growled at a strange metal box that locals say “suddenly appeared at dawn Monday” after a weekend filled with what locals call intense UFO sightings. “These metal looking boxes, that are about 20 inches in height and are a complete square of five foot by five foot are sunk deep in the surf” both here at Stonefield Beach – a popular Oregon coastal beach lookout for UFOs – and down the coast as far as we know “with yet more of these square metal containers that have no opening and are sealed all around,” explains Oregon UFO “watcher” Errol who lives nearby at Bray’s Point. In turn, these boxes are “not moveable,” and they are solid and metallic and seem to have this keening wail coming from both the boxes and the atmosphere around them,” adds Errol who’s been called in to “see what’s up” by locals thinking it “has something to do with UFOs” quipped a local senior named Doris who said she also heard “a miaowing wail come from the boxes Sunday evening.”

Strange beach boxes cause a stir

It’s as if an alarm went off, when a “high, shrill, piercing, frightening ring caught our attention Sunday evening,” explained Doris, a local senior whose retired and lives nearby Stonefield Beach. “I know crazy things happen over at Stonefield, but when you walk down and see that metal box sort of glowing in the surf it gets your attention real quick.”

In turn, local Oregon Forest Service fish biologists – who’ve been called in to help explain what is now been revealed as “a series of metal boxes buried into the surf up and down the Oregon coast, and possibly as far down the coast as northern California” – is more than enough to catch one’s attention, added Doris in trying to explain “what’s not explainable.”
