Altering Earthquakes:

ZetaTalk Aug 7, 2010

As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?

SOZT:   Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many?   EOZT

ZetaTalk Jun 18, 2011

Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?

SOZT:   It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.

We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable.   EOZT

Please collect earthquake-reports here. Significant Quakes or Magnitude 7+ can be posted separately.

Massive increase in earthquakes in Oklahoma - bow stress blamed on fracking

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/11443865...

Sometimes the dogs begin to bark a moment before the earthquake hits, sensing something that their owners cannot. Sometimes you can feel a change in air pressure on your face just as the shaking is about to begin.
But usually the earthquakes in Oklahoma - as many as three a day - arrive without warning.
"You never know when it's going to happen," said Ilke Crismon, a 75-year-old who grew up in Nuremberg under Allied bombing during the Second World War and now lives on a ranch outside the town of Glencoe. "We always had alarms before the bombers came. Here you just stand here and get it."Chad Devereaux examines bricks that fell from three sides of his in-laws home in Sparks, Oklahoma, after two earthquakes hit the area in less than 24 hours.

It wasn't always like this. Between 1978 and 2008, Oklahoma averaged fewer than two significant earthquakes per year. In 2014, that number had spiked to 585, including 19 that measured a powerful 4.0 magnitude or stronger.

As of February 20 of this year, 126 earthquakes had already been recorded by the US Geological Survey. Oklahoma, once a sedate seismic patch of the American heartland, now has more than twice as many sizeable earthquakes as California.

Rare quake shakes Kalimantan

Rare quake shakes Kalimantan

Kalimantan is among the regions in the archipelago known to be free of earthquakes, but a recent series of light to strong quakes recorded in North Kalimantan have shaken that belief.

The latest quake measuring 5.7 hit Tarakan on Tarakan island in North Kalimantan at 9.31 am on wednesday

but a recent series of light to strong quakes recorded in North Kalimantan have shaken that belief. - See more at: http://news.asiaone.com/news/asia/rare-quake-shakes-kalimantan#stha...

1424708648_508759_1424716882_noticia_normal At 17:16 today, an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shook the south-central Spain, creating apprehension in several settlements, including cities such as Madrid and Valencia. The earthquake had its epicenter in the province of Albacete, in Ossa de Montiel, in the region of Castilla La Mancha, and took place at 17:16. the hypocenter has had a depth of 10 km, according to data of the ' Instituto Geográfico Nacional (IGN) , whose website has gone haywire and remains out of service because of too many simultaneous connections. It was felt throughout central and southern Spain: Castile-La Mancha, Valencia, Murcia and Madrid.

A Ossa de Montiel, the epicenter of the earthquake, there was a lot of fear, but fortunately no damage. In this small town of two thousand inhabitants, consists largely of low houses with maximum two floors, people are running out and it is strongly heard the roar of the shock. "Vibrated throughout the house, shaking the glasses and dishes, lamps, dogs barking," says the newspaper El Pais an inhabitant of the country, but the mayor of the municipality ensures that there is no damage. Other witnesses confirm the strong fright tried and the roar that accompanied the shock.

Near Madrid, where the quake was felt very strong especially in some neighborhoods, there have been minor damage in four buildings at Torrejón de Ardoz, where there were temporary evacuations then returned. However there were no people injured. In the capital there have been hundreds of calls to the emergency phones. The quake has caused strong concern especially in some districts of the capital: in areas built on river sediments of the river Manzanares and Jarama recent amplification of the waves has led people to take to the street. A small tsunami has hit the coast of northern Japan after a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck on Tuesday morning.
A wave of 10 centimetres was observed on the shore of Miyako, a small city of approximately 60,000 people on the eastern-most coast of Honshu, eastern Iwate, at 8:47 am.
It followed a quake at a depth of about 10 km on Tuesday at 08:06 JST.
