Altering Earthquakes:

ZetaTalk Aug 7, 2010

As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?

SOZT:   Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many?   EOZT

Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?

SOZT:   It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.

We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable.   EOZT

6.8 Quake Off Papua New Guinea (Dec 7)

A 6.8 magnitude earthquake has struck in the ocean, 121km off Panguna, Papua New Guinea.

The quake hit at 2.21pm, NZT, and was 6.8km deep.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre said there was no risk of a tsunami.

It comes after an earlier quake measuring 6.0 struck underwater off east Indonesia.

The US Geological Survey said the quake hit early on Sunday, local time, with its epicentre 222 kilometres north-northwest of Samulaki in Indonesia's eastern Maluku province.

USGS said the quake's depth was measured at 117km.

6.4 Quake Hits Panama, 6.0 Quakes in Indonesia and Costa Rica (Dec 6)

Strong earthquakes rocked Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala and Indonesia on Saturday.

Costa Rica suffered from a magnitude 6 earthquake earlier in the day. The epicenter was 40 miles (65 kilometers) south of the Laurel community in Puntarenas province by the Panamanian border.

Felt strongly on the pacific coast of Costa Rica, witnesses told CSEM/EMSC that the area shook for longer than normal for the area.

The southern part of Costa Rica, and the Panamanian towns of Bocas del Toro and Chiriqui, felt the rumbling as well as the area of San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica.

Panama felt a magnitude 6.4 earthquake a little later in the day. The most powerful shaking was felt in the Chiriqui province, which is on the border of Costa Rica. The epicenter of that quake was at 24 miles (38 kilometers) off of Puerto Armuelles and 342 miles (550 kilometers) away from the Panamanian capital.

Later, a 6.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Indonesian coast of Yamdena Island.

The quake took place at around 10 p.m. GMT, with the epicenter 222 km (138 miles) to the northwest of Saumlaki town, located on Yamdena island. The quake happened at a depth of 117.3 km (72.9 miles).

BGS have received over a dozen reports, mainly from the Penicuik area, of this earthquake having been felt. Reports described a weak to moderate trembling and noise that sounded like rumbling or an explosion ("it sounded like there had been an explosion outside, one big thud" and "loud bang and floor and house shook and rattled"). This is the largest earthquake detected in the region since a magnitude 2.2 event on 13 November 2014 which was felt, in the Penicuik area, with a intensity of 3 EMS. There were also two magnitude 2.3 events detected on 30 November 2007 and 9 December 2007, which were also felt in the region with a similar intensity.

Four dead in China earthquake

Quake strikes western China, killing at least four people and injuring 54, including schoolchildren hurt in a stampede

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/nov/23/two-dead-in-china-eart...

Residents stand on a street to stay away from buildings after the earthquake hit Kangding county, Sichuan province.

A strong earthquake that hit a sparsely populated, mountainous area of western China killed at least four people and injured 54 others, including schoolchildren in a stampede, officials said Sunday.

The US Geological Survey said the magnitude-5.9 quake hit Saturday about 20 miles from the county of Kangding in Sichuan province. China’s seismological agency put the magnitude at 6.3.

The four dead included a woman in her 70s who was struck by a falling window pane, the official Xinhua news agency and state broadcaster CCTV said, citing Chen Yunbing, a doctor at the region’s Ganzi People’s hospital.

A stampede at a primary school in Tagong town during the quake injured 42 children, according to Xinhua.

A total of 30 homes collapsed and 2,630 suffered serious damage, the Sichuan information office said.
