There are increasing meteor reports recently all over the world. More debris from the Px tail...

ZetaTalk: Live Chat, written November 21, 2009

"When the debris from the tail of Planet X first started arriving in ernest, in 2004, the establishment chose to call this space junk. When the public became alarmed at the amount of space junk falling to Earth they tried to enhance the story by claiming that two satellites had crashed into each other, but this just made a bad story worse. Since fireballs have not gone away, but continued apace and if anything gotten worse, a new term has been used - asteroids. This is debris in the tail of Planet X, which is increasingly turning toward the Earth, hosed out from the N Pole of Planet X. This is why the wobble has gotten more violent, why electromagnetic disruption of dams and airplanes has occurred, and why blackouts will become more frequent. There will also be displays in the sky, some of which has already been noticed, from the electromagnetic tides assaulting the Earth's atmosphere. Stay tuned, more to come!"

Reports of a "bright light" and an "orange glow" were received by police across Scotland and the north of England around 9.40pm.

The Met Office tweeted: "Hi All, for anyone seeing something in the night sky, we believe it was a meteorite."

A spokesman for Strathclyde Police said the force had been "inundated" with calls about a bright object in the sky across the west of Scotland. A Durham Police spokeswoman said a number of calls came in around 9.45pm from concerned members of public who had seen a "bright light or a fire in the sky" and believed it may have been incidents involving an aircraft. "

It has been confirmed with air traffic control that there are no incidents of aircraftin difficult and nothing registered on radar," she said. "

The sightings are believed to be either an asteroid burning out or similar which has been restricted to the upper atmosphere only." Grampian Police said reports of people seeing a "flare or a bright object with a tail" were received from across the region. And Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary said numerous calls were made about a "large ball of fire in the sky" across Annandale and Eskdale.

One user wrote on the force's Facebook page: "It was awesome to see! Really big and bright!" Hundreds of people took to Twitter to report similar sightings across Scotland and the north of England. People described seeing a bright fireball moving across the sky with a large tail.

The Kielder Observatory also reported the sighting of a "huge fireball" travelling from north to south over Northumberland at 9.41pm. The Observatory posted on Twitter: "Of 30 years observing the sky #fireball best thing I have ever seen period."

Spectacular Green Fireball Flashes Across New Zealand Sky (Aug 28)

Hundreds of witnesses have described the magnificence of watching a fireball flash across the New Zealand sky last night.

Seen from all different parts of the country, most eye witness accounts describe a fast moving green light with a white tail flying over the sky between 6pm and 7pm.

"Wife and I saw a bright blue/greenish light with white tail as we were crossing the Auckland harbour bridge into the city around 6:25pm. We initially thought it was fireworks but was puzzled as it came out of nowhere from the sky and flew near-horizontally before it vanished. It appeared pretty close, as if it was flying just over Freemans Bay," James commented to Weather Watch.

Stardome Observatory educator Tim Jessop confirmed the siting to Weather Watch.

Sightings came from all over the country including Wanaka, Christchurch, Nelson, Wellington, Taranaki and Auckland.

Many people took to the Weather Watch website describing what they saw and seeking confirmation that the fireball wasn't a figment of their imagination.

"I was leaving my friends house in Richmond (near Nelson) at 6:30 last night when a lare green meteorite like object shot across the sky. It was travelling southwestwards and burnt out before reaching the horizon. It was larger than any shooting start or meteorite I had ever seen before and was spectacular to see. It was as though someone had let off a flare but judging by the widespread sightings it was much further away than it appeared to be," wrote Glen Hayes.

"I saw something on a drive through the Akatarawas in Upper Hutt, around 6:30pm last night. At first, it looked like a very bright star, then, as I was looking at it, it dropped suddenly, vertically, with a blazing tail, right in front of me, into the valley below. It fell between the road and the background hills, in front of the horizon. It was amazing! So close, I wondered if it was a flare, or a random firework. I wonder now if it was a fragment from the meteor that fell around the same time?" wrote a user Bright Lights.

"I also saw a green flash with white sparkles at about 630pm in Christchurch, appearing in the North travelling East to West. My first thought was that it was a firework rocket as it was travelling horizontally and appeared to be only a couple of hundred metres away," said another.

spectacular fireball over the skies of the Po Valley [PHOTOS]-
pianura Padana- ITALY

Monday, August 25, 2014

Thursday, August 21, in the skies of the Po Valley, was spotted a "fireball" very bright and spectacular. A reader MeteoWeb is accidentally managed to immortalize in a photo taken from Reggio Emilia. On the Emilian city a storm was coming, and Alexander was trying to take pictures of lightning with his smartphone. Covering only the photos after he has realized that he had accidentally photographed the fireball.

Bolide Reported Over New Zealand (Aug 18)

"An orange light was in the sky, and then the bomb went off. It was like an explosion."

A lightning-like flash in the sky and then a loud bang experienced in Wanganui yesterday morning was likely a bolide.

Arthur Harris of St John's Hill said it was 6.20am when he saw the flash.

A similar light was also seen in Christchurch and Dunedin according to reports on weatherwatch.co.nz.

Mark Lee of the Wanganui Astronomical Society said the light was a bolide, the name for a large, brilliant meteor, especially one that explodes.

Mr Lee said they were more common than people thought and could be a meteor. "It doesn't explode, it is just disintegrating."

He said material only has to be the size of a refrigerator to be seen and heard.

"I saw a very bright green glowing ball fall behind my house around 10:30pm August 18 2014 it was jsut above the roof then fell into a field it was incredible I had music on so I didn't hear anything. It happened really fast. I don't know if what I saw was a piece of the meteor reported by others but it was large & very cool!"

"6 pm in Dunedin looking SW; saw a large green blue meteorite descending south leaving a good streak behind for a second or two. Was going full on until it fell below the horizon."

"6pm, I watched that same meteor from Queenstown, ripping across the sky above Lake Wakatipu. Incredible"

A large fireball with a long tail streaked across southern B.C. skies late Monday night, sparking a social-media frenzy as people tweeted about the bright flash of light that split in two and caused a loud boom.

The meteor was spotted at around 10:15 p.m., with reported sightings of the bright fireball coming from across Metro Vancouver, Washington State and even Vancouver Island.

Witnesses say it was so bright to the point that the entire sky and ground lit up from its illumination. The meteor was green in colour and traveled from south to north.

A boom could be heard seconds after it passed, which could indicate that it disintegrated in mid-air or made contact with land.

"The fireball started as a bright white light before changing to bluish-green and then turning red".

“It was just such a beautiful thing,” he said. “I’ve never seen anything like it before.”

One couple, who said they live in downtown Vancouver, reported that they saw the fireball streak across downtown toward Coal Harbour.

“I thought for sure it was on course to hit a building in the Coal Harbour area,” they wrote on the AMS website. “We went for a walk in the direction we saw it fly but didn’t find anything.”

One person who lives in North Vancouver reported that the fireball lit up the entire night sky.

The American Meteor Society received numerous reports from Vancouver, Abbotsford, Langley, Nanaimo as well as other cities. Reports also came in from Washington.

Fireball Over U.K (Jul 27)

A bright greenish yellow fireball was observed over parts of the UK around 22:00 local time on July 27.  Below is a sampling of reports provided to the Armagh Observatory.

Polesworth: "A glowing green ball falling from the sky then disappeared behind the houses in the distance. I was facing north east, the direction the object moved was north. The height at the start was much higher than the horizon and the end of it's disability was half way above the horizon. The star was three times as bright as a star, was visible for 3/4 seconds. It travelled less than halfway across the sky, no sounds were heard."

Grimsby Lincolnshire: "As I sat in my garden facing south I saw a very bright greenish yellow fireball low on the horizon and descending from right to left (moving east). I was not able to track the fireball from beginning to end as it appeared too low on the horizon and was soon occulted by trees and buildings but in the few seconds it was visible I witness several bright pieces breaking off."

Loughborough: "Just above the tree line in an East direction a very bright green fireball type light falling fairly quickly with no noise or any trail or anything. Very unnerving! It was falling from right to left in a direction of number 1 to number 7 on a clock face. It seemed to be very near and just above the tree line when I noticed it and then it disappeared in the blink of an eye almost".

Fireball Over Southern U.S. (Aug 2)

Over 65 witnesses have reported a bright fireball over southern states Saturday night around 10:20 PM Eastern Time.

Witnesses from Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Kentucky reported the phenomena shortly after it occurred.

The fireball was captured on three of the All Sky Cameras operated by NASA’s Meteoroid Environmental Office.

Sampling of AMS reports:

"When I picked up my daughter in Madison 35 minutes later, she remarked, unsolicited, "We saw one firework tonight. It was a glowing ball with sparks."

"I saw a huge bright green fireball flying over my house and it looked like it was really close (2000-3000 feet)."

"I've seen many shooting stars, many meteor showers. This was unbelievable. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen."

The Perseid meteor shower is supposed to begin tonight. Early reviews on Twitter saying not much to see. One person said they saw 18 in 3 hours, which can happen in a normal night. Another saw zero in 2 hours. Still early though. Shower supposed to occur for days.

More craters found near the recently discovered hole in Siberia which the Zetas explained was the result of a meteor impact.

Two New Mysterious Craters Emerge in Siberia (Jul 28)

Taymyr Peninsula

Reindeer herders find more craters in the far north in a deepening puzzle for scientists.

One of the newly discovered holes is near the original in the Yamal Peninsula — in a land referred to by locals as “the end of the world.” It’s around 45 feet in diameter. The second is some hundreds of kilometres from the first, which is close to a huge gas extraction plant at Bovanenkovo. This new crater in the Taz district, near the village of Antipayuta, has a diameter of about 15 metres.

A deputy of the regional parliament,Mikhail Lapsui, examined this latest phenomenon.

'I flew by helicopter to inspect this funnel on Saturday 19 July,' he said. 'Its diameter is about 15 meters. 'There is also ground outside, as if it was thrown as a result of an underground explosion.

'According to local residents, the hole formed on 27 September 2013. Observers give several versions. According to the first, initially at the place was smoking, and then there was a bright flash. In the second version, a celestial body fell there.'

The third crater and hole is in the Taymyr Peninsula, to the east of Yamal, in Kransoyark region. It was accidentally discovered by local herders, inhabitants of the northern village of Nosok.

The funnel is a perfectly formed cone, say locals who are mystified at how it was formed. Its depth is estimated at between 60 and 100 metres and its diameter - more than four metres.

The herders almost fell into the hole which lies on a pasturing route.

ZetaTalk: Chat Q&A - July 19, 2014

"Clues as to the origin of this blown hole are that the soil was thrown evenly OUTWARD, that the explosion was recent as moss has not regrown over fresh dirt, and that heat was involved due to soil changes. If this was an explosion from the underground river then what was the trigger, the spark? Meteors falling on frozen ground, such as the permafrost at Yarmal, or on ice has force AND heat from atmospheric friction, and thus dive deep but also melt all within a perimeter, as this crater shows. The meteor itself, if found, will be tiny, as the explosion is caused by steam, which as those who work with steam know, is not to be under-rated in its explosive ability."
