There is something to be said about those times we read, hear or visualize (in our dreams etc...) quotes that bring warmth to our hearts and promote a drive to be better as a person in life. We all have different paths, stresses and heartaches to deal with in life...the fact that we are all going to be heading into the same types of stresses as the PS approaches means that we will all need a pick me up here and there.

Recently a political head and leader of the NDP in Canada Jack Layton,(Left leaning political party) passed away from a fight with Cancer. He was the most recognizable, respected and most down to earth politician I have seen in my life. What he did for the young population, the seniors and those who are less fortunate is astounding. His life read more like a champion of social work and not a politician...a true STO.

One of Jacks last things on this 3rd Density world was to write a letter to the people of Canada called his 'Last Letter' and the last line seems to resonate more with me everytime I read it:

"My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world."

- Jack Layton

So the purpose of this Blog/Discussion is to leave a quote or a line, something that gives us the motivation to strive in life and never give up hope, to love and to learn...always!

I recently also had a dream where someone whispered into my ear the following:

"Our thoughts, actions and choices are all etched upon our Soul...only to be carried from one life to the next, a book for all those to see...to read...and to learn"

I still get goosebumps thinking about that Dream!

"In the attutude of silence the soul finds a path in a clearer light, and what is elusive and deceptive resolves itself into crystal clearness."   Gandhi

We are Service-to-Other Zetas. Our ambitions, therefore, relate to how we can be of Service.

The Zetas

If
By Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!

Nice one astrogal50.

It can be tough being out on a limb, and holding your course.

I don't know how Nancy has done it all these years.

That is a great one Astrogal50...It seriously gave me goosebumps...everything in it is so relateable to the common man. And I agree with Deborah, it takes a special person to hold course through the darkness and the waves such as Nancy. She is someone we can all look up to!

Thanks astrogal50. You have posted one of my all time faves! "If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same"  (My favorite lines)
