We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter. Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.
In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.
Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.
"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

Gas blast sparks homes blaze
Eighteen houses were destroyed in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district yesterday after a gas explosion sparked a fire that spread to neighbouring homes.
No one was injured in the incident.
Dy Roth Khemrun, Meanchey district deputy governor, said the fire started at 6am.
“Specialists from the Phnom Penh fire department, local authorities and armed forces came to the scene to help our people extinguish the fire,” he said.
He said the 18 houses that were completely burned down were among 46 houses in the area. Most were made of wood and galvanised steel.
Firefighters used 14 fire engines to put out the fire. They faced difficulties because the road was small and crowded, but were able to extinguish the fire in about one hour, Mr Roth Khemrun said.
“This is the second fire in this area,” Mr Roth Khemrun said. “There was one in 2016 that destroyed 33 houses.”
Prom Yorn, director of Phnom Penh Municipal Fire Department, said yesterday that so far this year there have been 51 fires in Phnom Penh, resulting in three deaths.
Most of the fires were caused by gas explosions, electrical fires and the other careless actions of citizens, he said.
“I want to suggest to all citizens to be careful and pay attention to fire prevention, especially when using gas, electricity and the other things which easily cause fires,” he said.

'Like a bomb going off': One person seriously injured after being rescued from Sunderland house 'completely destroyed' by explosion

A house has been 'blown apart' in an explosion in Sunderland.
Emergency services raced to the scene in Rosslyn Avenue after the blast which terrified locals described sounding 'like a bomb going off' and police have put a 30 metre cordon in place.
The force of the explosion shook neighbouring homes and smashed windows.
One person had to be rescued from a house and was taken to hospital suffering serious burns.
A witness said: "It happened about a two minute walk from my house.
"I felt my house shake, it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced.
"It’s a semi-detached house and one half of it is just gone, entirely destroyed.
"It’s a residential street, quite a busy one but I don’t know if anyone was living there at the time. People living on the same street seem to have been evacuated from their homes."
"Officers along with NEAS and TWFB are on scene working to make the area safe.
"Ryhope Community Centre on Black Road/Ryhope Road has been opened for those affected by the incident."
Gas engineers have been seen arriving at the scene amid speculation that the explosion was caused by a gas leak.

5 killed in Coal mine incident in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir
A coal mine in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir has collapsed after an apparent gas explosion, killing five miners including two brothers.
Seven miners were digging coal about 800 feet deep in the tunnel at the time of explosion late last night. The miners got trapped when the mine collapsed on them due to gas explosion in Seri Darra village near Muzaffarabad.
The coal mine has been closed down till further orders.

Explosion at steel company’s River Rouge facility injures five employees

Five people were injured in an explosion late Monday night at U.S. Steel’s Great Lakes Works facility.
The incident occurred just before midnight at one of the company’s facilities on Great Lakes Street, near Zug Island in River Rouge.
The River Rouge Fire Department was sent to the scene to back up the company’s own fire department.
River Rouge Fire Chief Roberto Cruz was unavailable Tuesday afternoon, but shortly after the incident the department confirmed that two people were injured in the explosion at the steel plant, and were taken to the burn unit at Detroit Receiving Hospital for medical treatment.
United States Steel Corporation released a statement regarding the incident:
“Earlier today, there was an incident at U. S. Steel’s Great Lakes Works in the facility’s Hot Strip Mill. Five employees were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Two remain hospitalized at this time. One employee was treated and released at the plant’s on-site medical care facility.”
Meghan Cox, a spokeswoman in U.S. Steel Corporation’s corporate communications office, said that due to privacy laws the company cannot provide any additional information about the employees who were injured, or their conditions.
She said the scene is secure and other employees have been accounted for. Operations at the Hot Strip Mill remain down, but additional operations at Great Lakes Works have not been affected.
The company does not anticipate any impact on customer shipments, as it has additional hot strip mill capacity at other domestic U.S. Steel facilities, if needed.
At no point did the company refer to the incident as an “explosion.”
The News-Herald asked for clarification on the nature of the incident.
“It was a safety incident involving our operations,” Cox said.
She said an investigation is underway and the company will work closely with United States Steelworkers and relevant government agencies throughout the process.
“We have also activated our Employee Assistance Program to offer its services to the injured employees and their families, as well as the coworkers of those injured,” the company stated in the press release. “Our thoughts are with our injured employees, their families and their coworkers at Great Lakes Works.”

Sylhet: Seven people, including a journalist, were injured as a fire broke out following an explosion of the underground gas pipe near the Central Bus Terminal at Kadamtali in the city on Friday noon, reports UNB.
The injured include Shahidul Islam, a photojournalist of the Daily Shokaler Khobor.
Witnesses said fire erupted soon after the underground gas pipe went off with a big bang around 1 pm.
The fire burnt down a microbus, a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle, leaving seven people injured.On information, three firefighting units rushed in and doused the flame after one hour of frantic efforts, said team leader of Taltala Fire Service station Nurul Islam.

Gas explosion damages Joburg fibre cables, reports
Johannesburg – A gas explosion knocked out fibre-optic cables affecting internet connections in parts of Johannesburg on Tuesday.
Fibre installation and internet and voice service provider, BitCo tweeted that the explosion had burnt through its fibre cables.
“Gas explosion on Jan Smuts Avenue has burnt Fibre cables. Repairs are underway. Randburg, Rosebank and Craighall are currently affected,” their tweet read.
“Due to the severity of this break we unfortunately can not provide an ETA. Teams are working on fixing this break ASAP,” the company said in a follow-up tweet.

Explosion reported at gas company in Pittston Township
First responders on scene of an explosion in Luzerne County

PITTSTON TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) - Dozens of firefighters and police officers are on the scene of a reported explosion at a gas company in Pittston Township.
It happened around 10:30am Friday along Route 502 near Modern Gas, which is close to the Luzerne-Lackawanna County line. First responders from Luzerne and Lackawanna counties are on the scene.
Witnesses tell Eyewitness News that they heard an explosion and then saw a fire. Smoke can be scene from miles away. Witnesses also say they saw one person taken from the scene in an ambulance.
Police officers are checking nearby homes to make sure they are safe.
The scene is still active. Eyewitness News has a crew at the scene. We will have more information as this story develops.

Police confirm 9 dead in Calabar tank farm explosion

The Cross River Police Command has confirmed that nine people died in a fire outbreak that occurred at Linc Oil and Gas tank farm at around on Sunday monring.
Mr Hafiz Inuwa, the State Commissioner of police, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at the scene of the event, confirmed the figure.
Inuwa added that several other persons, who sustained injuries were currently being treated in one of the hospitals in Calabar.
According to him, the manager of the depot is yet to brief the police on what led to the explosion.
“Up until now, nobody has come out to tell us that this is what caused the fire outbreak.
“We have gone round, we have done what we can do but investigation will later reveal what actually led to the explosion.
“For now, nine people are confirmed dead and many others who sustained different burns are currently receiving treatment in one of the hospitals around town’’, he said.
NAN reports that officials from the Cross State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), were on ground to assess the extent of damages caused by the explosion.
A NAN correspondent who went round the depot, reports that the fire outbreak also affected the high tension cable which connected depot’s electricity transformer, while two vehicles and other important equipment were also burnt to ashes.
The depot Manager refused to speak with newsmen, saying that he was not authorised to speak at the moment.
But, a staff of the depot, who spoke with NAN under the condition of anonymity, said that the fire outbreak occurred when staff of the depot where discharging out the old products in the tanks to fill in the new consignment.
“As we speak right now, the vessel that brought in our new product is just by the port here. Some of our staff were discharging the old product from the tank with a view to bring in the new one when the fire outbreak occurred,” he said.
