Spain Experiences its Worst Train Accident in 40 Years

An increase in train derailments was one of the first symptoms of the approach of Planet X to become noticeable, being expressed even before Planet X entered the inner solar system in 2003.

Planet X was described as affecting the Earth from afar, like tugging on the edge of a spider web where the effects are felt elsewhere on the web; in this way there has been an increase in earthquakes and unpredictable weather going back years, even before Planet X entered the solar system, due to the increased swirling of the Earth’s core.

It is therefore logical that an increase in train derailments would accompany any increase in seismic activity – train tracks need to be straight and even the slightest shift to the side of a section of track would cause a train to derail.

The area most affected by train derailments is the stretch zone.  Stretch zone quakes are silent, and people are generally unaware anything is happening, although signs such as booms and trumpet sounds can occur.

This zone stretches from Western Europe across the Eurasian Plate, and also includes the South-East United States, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Red Sea and the African Rift.

In other parts of the world, shifting ground is more associated with earthquakes that people are aware of, such as the Pacific which is compressing, so authorities inspect railway tracks after any seismic activity, reducing the likelihood of accidents.

The derailment happened at a railroad crossing and left a boxcar hanging off the rails at a near 45-degree angle.

The Arizona Corporation Commission’s Safety Division said it led to a shutdown of McDowell Road between Interstate 17 and 19th Avenue. Access to Grand Avenue from northbound 19th Avenue is closed and access from Grand Avenue to McDowell Road is closed.

The Corporation Commission said it has had Railroad Section inspectors on the scene for most of the day.

There were no reported injuries, according to Phoenix police.

Phoenix police said they responded to the incident at 9 a.m. and drivers should expect delays for at least the next 12 hours.

Police said there were no hazardous materials within any of the cars but did not disclose what was inside.

‘Like Riding On The Back Of A Bull’: 2 Subway Cars Derail In Harlem; A, B, C, D Train Service Disrupted

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Two subway cars derailed in Manhattan Tuesday morning, causing numerous minor injuries, authorities said.

A southbound A train struck the wall of the tunnel at around 9:48 a.m., causing two subway cars to derail at West 128th Street officials said.

“The emergency brakes automatically went on. The train bucked forward, it bucked backward. In the process of doing that, two of the – there’s eight cars on this train – two of the cars derailed. They scraped the side of the wall,” MTA Chairman Joe Lhota said.

Lhota said it wasn’t immediately clear why the brakes went into emergency, Lhota said.

Two of the A train’s cars made it into the 125th Street station, Lhota said.

Thirty four minor injuries were reported, according to FDNY Commissioner Daniel Nigro.

The derailment caused damage to the tracks and disrupted service. It wasn’t clear how long repairs would take.

“Looks like there is track damage. Looks like there is switch damage,” said MTA Interim Executive Dir. Ronnie Hakim. There was also damage to the tunnel wall.

The derailment caused a small fire and smoke conditions, officials said.

Some 800 people were on four trains that were stopped as a result of the derailment, and some 500 evacuated on the tracks, Nigro said.

PASSENGERS DESCRIBE IMPACT, AFTERMATH

“We were on the express track from 145th to 125th… All of a sudden it was like the train just started like banging against the walls of the tunnel,” one passenger told CBS2’s Emily Smith. “It was going up and down. It was sort of like a runaway roller coaster — like a bucking horse.”

“It started rocking all over the place. People started falling off their chairs. It was crazy, like a movie,” Edgar Gonzalez said.

“My head was more thinking about like ‘Wow, I just got into an accident on the train.’ I was pretty shaken up, I was scared,” one woman told CBS2’s Jessica Moore.

“The lucky thing is that we were only a couple of hundred feet from the platform,” the passenger said. “It was like riding on the back of a bull.”

“People were in and out of their seats all over screaming, power went out and then it stopped and the car filled up with smoke” he added. “We didn’t know what was going on.”

Once the train came to a halt, people were checking on one another, one passenger said.

All passengers on the original A train were evacuated.

Several other trains which were also stopped as a result of a the derailment were also evacuated, though the evacuations took time.

Train carrying ice cream derails, dairy contaminates fish habitat

Monday, June 26th 2017, 3:15 pm EDT

MITCHELL COUNTY, TX (KWES) -

A trail derailment in Mitchell County left residents in a panic when they realized the creek water was turning white.

Doyle Mitchell, who was out at the scene on Friday says fish quickly surfaced, trying to get air, and that's when he knew something was wrong.

It wasn't long before they figured out the train was carrying ice cream and it had spilled into the creek that would eventually reach Lake Champion.

The dairy caused breathing problems for the fish, as you can see in the video below.

Luckily, the railroad crew took quick action, Mitchell tells us they built a damn to stop the continuing flow of the ice cream.

After that, they pumped out the water from the creek. Thankfully, the rain over the weekend helped with a fresh and crystal clear flow of water Monday morning.

Train Derails In Boulder, Evacuation Lifted After Investigation

Investigators are still trying to determine how the wreck happened. The cars piled on top of each other toward what appeared to be the rear of the train.

First responders were concerned that one of the overturned cars may have been carrying hazardous materials and evacuated businesses in the area. The car was actually carrying plastic beads and after an hour the evacuation was lifted.

The train was uncoupled to prevent blocking road crossings in the largely industrial part of Boulder. No injuries were reported.

ST. ALBANS, Vt. - A train derailment snarled traffic in St. Albans Wednesday morning.

Police say it happened around 6 a.m. after the engine hit a switch that was in the wrong position. The train derailed and  damaged about 100 feet of track. Several roads were closed for hours while crews worked to get the train back on the  tracks.

It's the second time this has happened in that spot and we asked police how it could be avoided.

"I don't have the answer to that," St. Albans Police Chief Gary Taylor said. "Certainly we will pursue anything we need to pursue. Maybe it's just a conversation about how we can improve."

The crossings at Lower Weldon Street and Lake Street have since reopened but railroad crews are still working in the area.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating that crash.
