We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter.  Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.

In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.

Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.

"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

PDVSA says explosion hits its Venezuela gas plant, no injuries

PUNTO FIJO, Venezuela

Aug 31 A gas treatment plant of PDVSA on the western coast of Venezuela was hit by an explosion on Monday evening though there were no injuries, the state oil company said.

The explosion was the result of a ruptured fuel system heater that is being tested, PDVSA said on Twitter. Flames were immediately controlled and causes as well as damage are being assessed, it said.

Workers at the plant, who asked not to be identified because they are not allowed to speak to the press, said at the time of the explosion the unit was near empty because shifts were being swapped.

PDVSA did not immediately respond to requests for further information. It was not immediately clear if the plant might have been damaged.

The plant, located in the Tiguadare sector of Punto Fijo, in the state of Falcon, processes gas extracted from the Cardon IV block, a field in the vast Perla reservoir, operated by Spanish-company Repsol and Italian company Eni . The Cardon IV block began operating in recent weeks.

Union leader Ivan Freites told Reuters there were no reports of casualties.

Perla is located 50 kilometers off the western coast of the Paraguana peninsula. It is the largest of Latin America's largest offshore gas fields, with a volume of 17 trillion cubic feet, according to Eni.

Transformer explosion causes power outage

A power line transformer exploded on corner of Oleander and East Sacramento Avenues around 3 p.m. on Monday causing a temporary power outage. Chico police were nearby when the explosion occurred.

“The power went out right as I heard a loud pop from the power line,” said an employee of a neighboring business. Chico Police remained on the scene to direct traffic.

First responders reported smoke upon arrival, but the fire went out almost immediately after the explosion occurred. Pacific Gas and Electric showed up roughly 20 minutes after the incident to repair the transformer.

Local businesses, including Dutch Brothers on Esplanade, shut down early due to the power outage. PG&E estimated power restoration around 5:30 p.m.

Spain: Five dead and six injured in explosion at fireworks factory in Zaragoza

Five people - three men and two women - were killed and six were injured in an explosion at a fireworks factory near Zaragoza in northeastern Spain, officials have confirmed.

Six people are being treated in local hospitals, with two in intensive care. The explosion, according to Aragon Radio took place at around 2.15pm local time. The cause of the explosion is not known, Reuters reported.

A spokeswoman for the regional government of Aragon confirmed the death toll and injuries, saying that firefighters were continuing their work at the factory, which exports products to other European countries and Canada.

Local media reported that the explosion took place at Pirotecnica Zaragozana's factory in the area, but the company's main office has not been able to immediately confirm this.

The Spain Report said that the Aragon regional government has declared a day of mourning today (1 September).

A huge blast has ripped through a Chinese city following a reported chemical factory explosion just weeks after around 158 were killed in a similar incident.
Bright flames and black smoke were seen coming from a chemical plant in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong this evening.
The 'loud' explosion was seen and heard in the industrial zone of Lijin, Dongying City of Shandong, just before 11.30pm local time, state radio said.
It is not yet known if there are any injuries or fatalities.
This comes almost three weeks after around 158 people died in a series of massive explosions at chemical warehouses in Tianjin - the world's 10th-largest port.
China formally detained 12 government officials and company executives following the blasts on suspicion of dereliction of duty or abuse of power.
One person died last month when an explosion hit a chemical plant in a different part of Shandong.
The explosion occurred at a factory of Shandong's Runxing Chemical company which is a subsidiary of Runxing Group.
The latest incident is likely to heighten concerns about China’s growing chemical industry and what many say are lax regulations that can endanger residents.
Anger over safety standards is growing in China, after three decades of swift economic growth marred by incidents from mining disasters to factory fires.
President Xi Jinping has vowed that authorities will learn the lessons paid for with blood.

The cause of the blast is unknown.

 Fire officials are trying to figure out what caused a small explosion in hidalgo county. a gas pipe exploded in a field near mccook wdnesday afternoon. the pipe belongs to oxy petroleum. fire crews from linn-san manuel and alton helped employees from the gas company put out flames... nobody was hurt. employees shut off the pipes... until they figure out how the leak happened.

Explosion in Nippon Steel Sumitomo Metals Steel factory, the industrial area of ​​Haneda Airport

(CNN)A huge blaze at a steel plant next to Tokyo's Haneda International Airport led to arriving flights being diverted briefly to an alternative landing strip.

A series of explosions erupted early Monday morning, likely at Sagami General Depot, a US army outpost in Kanagawa Prefecture, on the outskirts of Tokyo.

The Pentagon has said it first heard of the explosion from news media, and is investigating.

"We're aware of the report, but we don't have confirmation that the explosion occurred on the base," Pentagon spokesman, US Navy Commander Bill Urban, told reporters.

The fire department of the city of Sagamihara said the blasts rang out shortly before 1:00am local time, national broadcaster NHK reported.

More than ten fire trucks were dispatched to the site of the fire. Japan’s Asahi newspaper reported that no general evacuation of nearby areas had been called.

“I was asleep, and at first thought it might have been the roar of thunder, but then there was a sequence of explosions for 10, maybe 15 minutes. A pillar of orange rose to the skies, and the air was filled with the smell of gunpowder,” one eyewitness told NHK.

Sagami General Depot is a sprawling 200-hectare facility, bordered by urban areas and a train line, with a university campus and a hospital in the vicinity. A former WWII-era tank plant and arsenal, it currently houses the 35th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, and various logistics and medical departments overseeing the US military network in the region.

The site, which has been underused in recent years, lies on prime real estate just 40km from the heart of Tokyo, and has been subject of negotiations, with the US planning to eventually return most of the territory, under the terms of a 2006 agreement.

An explosion occurred at a chemical warehouse in Shandong province in eastern China on Saturday evening, the People's Daily China reported. The site is only one kilometer from a residential area.

Firefighters were dealing with the aftermath of the blast in Zibo County, Chinese media reported.

The explosion was so strong that its blast wave was felt within a five-kilometer (3.1 miles) radius, TASS reported, citing local media. Windows in nearby houses shattered.

There have been no reports of any casualties. 

Local authorities have reportedly started evacuation of residents in the area near the blast site.

Last week, more than a hundred people were killed and some 700 injured in explosions at a warehouse storing hazardous chemicals in Tianjin port. Dozens are still missing and thousands of people were evacuated from the area, their homes having been either destroyed or deemed unsafe to return to.

Following the deadly incident in Tianjin in northeastern China, the country's handling of the chemical blasts and the lack of information during such incidents have been criticized by a top UN expert.
