Here is another very good visual/compass measurement of the sun rising too far North. This was taken from N. Texas latitude. I lived there 42 yrs. At no time of the year should you ever see it rise north of that line. This should NEVER happen, even in June. (June 2011).
I noticed the difference in sunrise back in '06. I was living in Dallas and there the sun should never rise north of that latitude. Not even close. However, there it was, a good 35 degrees more northerly than usual. Still from the east, but between north and east at that time. I've since moved to Nebraska and now have lost my usual street markings. So, I would appreciate your input. Is it almost rising due north now? I had also noticed that the trajectory was erratic in the daytime sky. In '06 around the time of winter solstice it would rise in the northeast and set in the southwest. Driving due south was a blinding experience in the late evenings.
I have also found the sun rising too far north. I park in the same place each day as I'm the first to arrive at work (at 5am!) & leave at 2pm. At this time of the year I usually need to park a bit further down the road so as to leave my car in the shade of the building where my office is situated; but now there is no shade at in the afternoon at all, the sun blazes down all along the row of parking spaces. It is most definitely not in the right place.
I have lived here in northern Ontario Canada for years... the sun always rose off the left corner of my house. This year I been noticing it rising much further north. Guess I should get a compass, but it's noticeably degrees north of where it's been all the previous years. I'm anticipating this winter it will no longer rise so far south as it has in past years.

@Melissa: The sun rose in the East, and set in the West, during the summer solstice the sun is supposed to rise directly in the East and set directly in the West, and gradually move SE as it rises to SE at the Winter Solstice and the same for the setting sun, setting by degrees further SW until it had set SW by the winter solstice.
Because of the lean to the left and the wobble the sun is setting further north and rising further north. That is how we are able to tell as we have been keeping track of the sun's movements. The moon is also all over the place because of the wobble. If you wanted proof, how about researching it for yourself? There's plenty of research to be found on the Zetatalk and on previous blogs.
