We'll be seeing an uptick in unusual home and business gas explosions and I'm trying to locate specific ZT on the matter. Below is a refresher for the many gas related news articles.

Fault lines, when adjusting, do not just rip apart one day during a dramatic earthquake. They most often creep. Laying gas lines along or across a fault line is asking for an accident of this sort. Fault lines are also seldom so clearly delineated that one can go a mile in this or that direction and avoid their action. Where a slip-slide fault such as the San Andreas will often leave a clear line on the surface, this is only the surface action, not what occurs in the rock layers on either side which can fracture for a long way to either side during any movement. The gas company, or the age of the pipes, will be faulted but in truth the finger should be pointed in many directions. The public, who insist on living at such a scenic spot, is to blame. Officials, who zoned for housing are to blame. The public utility company, for allowing gas lines in the area, is to blame. But this will change nothing, while man continues to live on the San Andreas, even as it awakens. EOZT

The danger from radon gas will not be increased as a result of the pole shift. Radon gas is emitted by rock containing uranium, which is degrading. In normal circumstances, where air can circulate, it is disbursed rapidly as is any methane created by decay of organic material. The danger from these gasses comes from confinement - being trapped in a mine, a basement, or beneath the permafrost. The dangers are well known. For methane, it is explosions. An accumulation of methane gas can be identified by the smell of rotten eggs, or as some have described it, dirty socks or cabbage soup. For radon gas the danger is lung cancer, from the continual exposure to the radioactive air. Radon gas is odorless, and cannot be detected except by specialized equipment not in the hands of the average person.
In that the pole shift, or the Earth changes preceding the pole shift, can fracture rock and release pockets of either gas, survivors should be cautious about huddling in bunkers. You are safer out in the open air, or in a trench you have dug that will allow the pole shift winds to pass over you, but nothing to fall on and crush you. The fact that both methane gas and radon gas can accumulate in the bunkers of the elite is one of the reasons we have stated that they have dug their own graves. EOZT

Anyone watching the news, for instance the news on the San Bruno explosion in a distribution line close to the San Andreas Fault line, knows that gas in any form is a danger. Oil and gas refineries explode when rigid piping cracks. Oil or gas wells explode when the ground around them moves. And the gas distribution lines running under cities are no exception. They likewise will explode. Gas lines, whether along the street or within a home, are rigid. In some cases automatic shutoff valves can limit the amount of gas available for an explosion by sensing a drop in pressure, but this is always after the fact. The explosion has already occurred. Utilizing gas on a planet prone to earthquakes was a mistake to begin with, but man never thinks of the consequences when striving for modern conveniences. We have advised turning off the gas at the street, though when the street explodes and your neighbor's homes are on fire you are not likely to escape the holocaust. A better alternative is to live in an area where gas is not available, as in your rural safe location where you will be doing a form of camping while gardening. A campfire at night, for cooking and washing and a bit of friendly light before bed. Nothing explosive. EOZT

SOZT Answer: It is no accident that the New Madrid fault lies under the Mississippi River near Memphis, as rivers form in lowlands created when land pulls apart, separating the rock fingers and weakening support for the land. Thus, the Ohio River bed also is an indication of where rock fingers will pull apart. Two adjustments in Kentucky, a day apart, are not an accident, but an indication of the speed at which the stretch zone is starting to adjust. Rail lines are frequently an early harbinger of such adjustments, as they run long distances, whereas structures within cities, such as tall buildings, take up relatively little space and have a small footprint. Our warning that imploding cities will be experienced, before the hour of the shift, are in this regard. Be warmed, it will not just be your rail lines and gas and water mains that will shatter and be pulled apart during the stretch. The foundations of your tall buildings will likewise be vulnerable.EOZT

(CNN) -- A gas main explosion in Philadelphia Tuesday evening killed one utilities worker and injured five other people, a fire department official said.
Philadelphia Gas Works employees were responding to a gas main break in the city's Tacony neighborhood when the explosion occurred, fire department spokesman Jim Smith said.
"They were trying to control it and found a source of ignition," according to Smith, who said four PGW employees and a firefighter were among the injured. He said some of the gas workers' injuries were serious.

According to Mikrofonnwes agency (MHA), at least 12 people, 6 of them slightly, have wounded in a gas explosion in Islamshaher, close to Tehran, officials say.
The explosion happened on Thursday in the Imam Hussain area. Technical error caused the explosion apparently, which has brought huge damage to the surrounding buildings.

Several people have been wounded after an explosion caused damage to a number of buildings in Antwerp, Belgium. Police believe the incident is not terrorism related.
At least one building collapsed after an explosion rocked the Paardenmarkt area in Antwerp on Monday night. The explosion at the Italian restaurant Primavera was so powerful that it caused damage to three buildings.
At least five people were injured in the explosion, police spokesman Wouter Bruyns told local media, stressing “there are certainly still victims under the rubble.” The five injured are already receiving medical care as emergency services continue their work to rescue trapped survivors.
Police say between 10 and 20 people could have been inside the building at the time of the explosion. Emergency services established contact with three people still trapped under the rubble, as rescue crews continue to work under “extremely dangerous conditions.” Rescue teams deployed canine units and ladder trucks to sniff out and locate the victims.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the blast, which happened shortly after 9:30pm local time. While the cause of the blast has not yet been established, police say the explosion was “certainly not about terrorism.” With terrorism ruled out, the incident was most likely caused by a gas explosion. The Paardenmarkt is located in the center of Antwerp and is known as the city’s student hub.

At least two persons were burnt to death and eight others suffered varying degrees of burns in an early morning explosion at a gas plant in Magodo, Lagos.
The Nation gathered that there was a similar explosion at Badagry, but the Director of the Lagos State Fire Service has not confirmed the incident.
Eyewitnesses told The Nation that the Magodo explosion occurred at about 7:00 a.m. from the Second Coming Nigeria Limited Gas plant station located on CMD Road, Magodo, Ikosi- Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of the state.
The heavy blaze consumed three gas reservoir tanks, a 33,000-litre gas truck, the Administrative Block of Second Coming Gas Company, electricity generating set, gas cylinders and other equipment.
It took about three hours for the heavy blaze to be brought under control by firemen from the Federal and Lagos State Fire Services, as well as officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).
An official of the gas firm, who gave his name as Onyekachi, described the value of the property destroyed as “huge.”
Onyekachi said: “There was an explosion and we were called on. On arrival here, we had to put everything under control. Explosion can be caused by anything in a gas plant environment. In a gas plant environment, anything can happen. There were casualties but they were rushed to the hospital by the Federal Road Safety Corp. The property lost is huge.”
According to an eyewitness, the explosion was preceded by the smell of leaking gas on Sunday night.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi, who arrived at the scene at 11:30 a.m., said the fire was caused by a spark from a vehicle on the road several meters away.
He warned journalists and bystanders to leave the area because of the possibility of another explosion.
Imohimi said: “Those that can be rescued have been rescued. We had two casualties, from what I’ve just been briefed. We still have to evacuate here like I advised LASEMA because there is a possibility of a secondary explosion. LASEMA agrees with me and that’s why we will not stay here for too long for the safety of everyone here.”

GEISMAR – Crews responded to a reported explosion at a plant on River Road Sunday afternoon.
Sources tell WBRZ no one was injured in the incident at the International-Matex Tank Terminal on LA 75 around 1 p.m. The explosion was reportedly caused by a ruptured natural gas line that caught on fire.
Sources said no one was injured. Flames from the explosion reportedly reached upwards of 100 feet high. Firefighters are attempting to contain the flames.
River Road is closed while emergency crews assist on scene, according to officials at the plant.
An Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesperson confirmed there were no injuries, and no harmful chemicals have been released.

There was confusion in Delta State on Thursday after an explosion affected the Nigeria Gas Company pipeline at the Ugbokodo community, near the Warri Refinery in Okpe Local Government Area of the state.
It was gathered that some residents, including children, who fled into the bush following the raging fire were still missing as at about 4:30pm.
Speaking to Punch, protesting members of the community, led by the Unuevworo (traditional) of Ugbokodo community, Tobore Ajisha, alleged that the explosion could have been prevented if the leaking pipeline had been fixed when the community leaders reported the matter to NGC officials in writing.
Ajisha disclosed that the community had also placed a call to the management of Nigeria Gas Processing and Transporting Company when they noticed the explosion in the affected pipeline, but the NGPTC reportedly refused to act quickly until the fire gathered momentum.
He said, “After the explosion, many of our residents who fled into the bush for safety have not been found.
“Some of them also sustained injuries from stampede that happened when everyone was scampering for safety. They have been taken for treatment.
“Our farms and fish boats were affected in the incident. We are appealing to the federal and state governments to wade into the issue.
“Before today’s (Thursday) explosion, we have written to NGC office here to intervene, but they didn’t listen to us. Now, see what their negligence has caused us.”
It took the combined efforts of the men of the fire services from NGC, Warri Refinery and other agencies to put off the fire about at about 8am.
The authorities, so far, have not said that any life was lost in the incident.
The Commander of the Joint Task Force, Operation Delta Safe, Rear Admiral Suleiman Apochi, confirmed the incident.
Apochi said he had yet to get a full briefing about the development.

MIRI: A gas leak followed by an explosion at KP181 of the Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline (SSGP) sent locals in Long Luping, Lawas scurrying to safety early yesterday.
The leak in the pipeline also triggered an immediate evacuation of some 80 pupils from nearby SK Long Luping.
Sixty-one-year-old Martin Singa and his wife, who live just 500 metres from the site, were left with breathing difficulties as well as eye and throat irritation caused by the leaked gas from the pipeline.
Martin, who was taking his wife to a clinic in Long Semadoh for treatment when contacted by The Borneo Post, said he was the first to know about the leakage.
“I smelled the gas around 1.30am before hearing a loud explosion. The sound was so loud – like a plane had crashed.
“I immediately knew something was not right and my wife and I drove our car to the main road to safety,” he said, adding his wife’s condition was more serious than his as she had breathing difficulties and blurred vision.
“We were in a state of panic, but managed to drive to the school (SK Long Luping) about three kilometres away to inform them about the gas leak, prompting the school to evacuate its pupils.”
Martin said as there was no telephone reception in the area, he used amateur radio to make an emergency communication around 1.45am.
“I called them via the (amateur) radio and thankfully, someone from Ba Kelalan responded to the call. He forwarded my message to the police station in Lawas to get the valves shut down,” he said.
Another local, Peter Dison, 36, who works at a logging camp in Merarap (about 10 kilometres from the site) said he also heard the explosion.
“The sound was so loud that we could hear it from as far as Merarap. It was about 2am and I was going to start the generator set. Some of the mechanics working at the camp rushed to the school (SK Long Luping) to check on their children.
“We all panicked,” he said.
Petronas representatives (right and extreme left) talk to Martin Singa during their visit to the site yesterday following the incident. With them is Gituen Labung, who is a representative of Ba Kelalan assemblyman.
The leakage at KP181 – the second to hit the pipeline caused the gas supply from Kimanis in Sabah to be immediately shut off.
On June 10, 2014, an explosion at KP135 of the SSGP ripped apart a portion of the RM3-billion interstate gas pipeline project along a stretch between Lawas town and Long Sukang in the northern-most district of Sarawak.
In a brief statement issued by the media relations unit of its Sabah and Labuan Regional Office yesterday, Petronas confirmed the gas leak incident at Long Luping.
It said that its emergency response team was mobilised and brought the situation under control, and that all relevant authorities had been informed.
“There is no impact to the surrounding communities and the environment. Investigation (is) still being carried out,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Ba Kelalan assemblyman Baru Bian said he was informed of the leakage by his Lawas office staffers.
“I understand that Petronas security personnel had been sent to the area around Long Meringau, near to Long Luping,” he said when contacted.
“As this is the second time a leakage has occurred, I am very concerned and so are the people in the area.
“A thorough investigation must be done. I hope to get a briefing from Petronas on the incident soon,” he said.
The 512-km SSGP pipes gas from Kimanis for processing into liquefied natural gas (LNG) at the Petronas LNG Complex in Bintulu for export.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Fire officials say a build-up of methane gas caused an explosion at a Kansas City wastewater treatment plant.
No injuries were reported.
Brooke Givens, spokeswoman for the city's water department, said the Blue River Wastewater Treatment Plant was damaged by the Wednesday explosion but it remained in operation.
The explosion occurred near the plant's rear door and damage was reported in the hallway and stairwell. A monetary damage estimate was not immediately available.
Methane gas is a byproduct of the wastewater treatment process. Givens says the cause of the explosion is being investigated.

At least six people including two children were killed and 12 more injured as a result of a gas cylinder explosion in the District Headquarters Hospital in the northern Pakistani city of Attock, local media reported.
Following the Monday explosion the building partially collapsed, the Geo TV broadcaster reported.
More people are feared to be trapped under the debris, according to the media outlet.
Authorities of the Punjab province launched an investigation into the incident. The special commission will visit the site of the blast and present a report identifying persons responsible for the incident within 72 hours.

The Mediterranean port of Es Sider, also spelled as Sidr and Sidra, features the largest oil depot in Libya. The blast occurred near Marada, on the pipeline belonging to the Waha oil company, the source told Reuters.

A natural gas explosion at a restaurant caused a precautionary evacuation to part of an apartment building in Hollywood Wednesday night.
Los Angeles firefighters headed to the scene in the 1700 block of North Highland Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Officials said the explosion happened at the Tinhorn Flats Saloon and Grill, a vacant commercial restaurant on the first floor of a six-story apartment building.
The first floor above the restaurant in the building was evacuated as a precaution, according to fire officials.
The gas line was shut off and secured, according to authorities. One person was being evaluated for an unknown injury, but
eventually left the scene unharmed, according to Los Angeles Fire Department officials.
A gas reading and search were conducted on the residential floors to make sure no one would be in a hazardous environment.
The structural integrity of the building was also being checked by firefighters.
Highland Avenue was closed from Franklin Avenue to Hollywood Boulevard, as well as side streets.
The investigation was ongoing.
