There is a district in the State of Andhra Pradesh, India, called Anantpur where residents of that district observed the earth developing deep cracks, almos like the scene in the movie, "Tremors."  From those cracks, smoke is emanating with lava like material oozing out.  In other places, (in the same district) upon digging the earth, people found hardened, black stone or earth crust charred to a cinder but firm to the touch.  There is no volcano in and around the area so it is pretty strange that lava like substance can be found.  A few days later as on Feb/6/2011, in Krishna district, also in Andhra Pradesh, a man was getting a bore well dug up and found to his surprise hot water like a geyser, bubbling on the surface.  Geologists dismiss this in their usual brusque manner as something that happens when there is an earthquake and that the place experienced some tremors some time ago, which is not true.  Is there a cover up?  Why is the Government not going deep into the matter?  These are some of the questions that crop up in one's mind when one takes the overall scene of what is going on in the rest of the world.

Actually this news was shown on our local channel on TV.  Most people tend to dismiss this off as media hype either because they really don't want to know the truth or they can't handle the truth.  Lame excuses are given by the so called "geologists," who perhaps have never seen such a phenomenon before or they are told to quell such news by the authorities, hence the excuses.  But the truth is out there!

Kamlesh - indeed there are MANY questions that are going unanswered! If you can get some pictures that would be helpful. Thanks for posting this! It seems that there must be a weak point in the crust and as the continent gets squeezed it is like jelly oozing out of a pastry when you bite into it. Sometimes the jelly pops out of unexpected places.

Didn't the movie 2012 start with deep earth exploration in India where they were monitoring the temperature of the earth?  It has been said many times that this movie was written by a "believer" trying to get a message out to the general public and there are so many elements of the film which are actually starting to happen, unfortunately it also had to be glammed up for hollywood so you have to pick around to find out the truth within it.

the problem is, very few people actually have an idea of what the overall scene in the world is.

Times of India

KURNOOL: In a strange phenomenon, a black chemical substance gushed out from the earth, creating panic in Maddikera village in Kurnool district on Monday. Huge cavities also formed in the three acres of land owned by a farmer, Nagaiah, of Maddikere, about 100 km from Kurnool, soon after the black substance spewed out from beneath the land. Nagaiah said it damaged the soil.

The nearby grass caught fire when the black substance spread like lava from a volcano. A cement electric pole in the vicinity collapsed.

Nagaiah said he first saw the phenomenon two days ago. Officials rushed to the village to take stock of the strange occurrence. Experts said they would conduct studies to unravel the mystery behind the spewing out of the blackish material from beneath the surface.

This is in the center of India, on high ground, to my knowledge not a fault line. Humm.

Puzzling. In the middle of the country, which has no fault lines. On high ground, not in stretch zone. Humm.

Interesting....I wonder if the lava is looking to form a Volcano in that area or is it just filling the voids leftover from the stretch marks in the Earth??
