Bridge Collapses West Of Trinidad, Colorado

C-DOT and Colorado State Patrol both confirm that a bridge has collapsed west of Trinidad.


It's not known what caused the collapse.


There were no reports of injuries, but the damage has made it impossible to travel in either direction.


The bridge was located at mile marker 47 of Highway 12, approximately 22 miles west of Trinidad.


No word yet on repairs or detours.
