Rob is a term we see used all the time in reports such as the above, and although there appears to be no direct English translation, the term is referring to, is always used in conjunction with descriptions of, seawater inundation.

They can call it whatever they wish, all such terms are superfluous, the root cause moot. We see this every other day in news reports etc, posted dutifully by Khan and others, from this region where the Eurasia Plate tongue, aka Sunda Plate, is being subducted in a dive-and-fold plunge under the northern edge of the Indo-Australian Plate. Java is sitting on a leading edge of that diving Sunda, and thus, is going under, i.e. sinking. All symptoms of predicted plate movement, brought into play by a magnetic presence.
