Altering Earthquakes:

ZetaTalk Aug 7, 2010

As of late, I have observed that USGS and EMSC are a bit lax on their reports of earthquakes. Sometimes not seeing anything reported for hours from the last update, or seeing periods of 90-200 minutes with no earthquakes in between. My question is, are they leaving swarms of earthquakes out of their reports, or there are actually periods of no earthquakes?

SOZT:   Greater than 90% of the earthquake activity is being altered by the USGS at present, which is under orders to prevent any clue being given to the public about the Earth changes caused by the presence of Planet X. Over a decade ago, the approach was to de-sensitize the live seismographs periodically, so the displays do not turn black worldwide, and to ignore the twice-a-day patterns showing up on these seismographs. Then any quakes that could be dropped were dropped. This was obvious to some who were watching the database manipulation. Quakes in the list would suddenly disappear. This was particularly the case where a quake happened in a remote location, or out in the ocean. Dumbing down the magnitude quickly followed, but in order to ensure the public did not notice, the USGS took control of all websites reporting quake statistics. At times, this control breaks, and discrepancies are reported to the public. Some countries rebel. Quake swarms are another source of control, as they pepper the databases with many quakes and skew the statistics, and thus are pulled from the database. Else the question is raised, why so many?   EOZT

ZetaTalk Jun 18, 2011

Will the USGS internet system be a reliable warning system for the European tsunami by registering on the net the New Madrid earthquake on the exact time it occurs?

SOZT:   It will not be a lack of information from the USGS that will be the point of confusion during the earthquakes leading up to the New Madrid adjustment, it will be knowing which quake is the big one vs the many minor quakes preceding it. The USGS downgrades almost all earthquakes, to prevent meaningful statistics from being generated from their databases. They also exclude quakes whenever they can, but this is unlikely to happen in the New Madrid area as it is in the center of a populated land mass. Thus you will have magnitude 6 quakes that will be called a 5.2, magnitude 7 quakes called a 6.1, and when a magnitude 8 or greater quake occurs, it will be called a 6.9.

We would advise that rather than watching the USGS quake statistics, that you watch the Earth changes. The adjustment that will incite the European tsunami will involve bridges on the Mississippi breaking, and being impassable. The land to the west of the Mississippi will drop so that the Mississippi will become 50 miles wide in the state of Mississippi. Watch for this. The New Madrid adjustment will be several large quakes of magnitude 8-9, though will be listed as a lesser magnitude. As the N American continent continues to unzip up to and along the Seaway, the quakes will be less than a magnitude 8 but very destructive to Cleveland and Toledo and Buffalo and the inland locks along the Seaway. Thus it is not what the USGS says that should be watched, but the condition of the bridges on the Mississippi, the impact on the cities along the Seaway, and whether the inland locks are reported as inoperable.   EOZT

Please collect earthquake-reports here. Significant Quakes or Magnitude 7+ can be posted separately.

EL HIERRO - CANARIAS DECEMBER 22 2013

Source: AVCAN

Increased seismic-volcanic activity on the island of El Hierro and possible new intrusion

About 01:40 hours in the morning and a small seismic swarm began a significant increase in seismic-volcanic activity on the island of Hierro l. Small earthquakes have occurred steadily throughout the morning and early in the morning.

NEW EARTHQUAKE SWARM IN EL HIERRO - MONITORING AND SEISMIC VOLCANIC NEWS ON THE ISLAND OF IRON - MAP UPDATED - 22/12/2013 - 14:30 h. Canaries. This is the beginning of something much stronger, think of a swarm as we have had so far focused on a point is not of this swarm.

The activity has begun in the Gulf Sea (green) with 11 earthquakes located between 14 and 16km to go moving inland and then move to the innermost zone in the last hours (red) with three more earthquakes between 1.9 and 17.2 km .

This swarm has reached 2.8 reveals basal regional efforts, where the shallower magma step towards opening levels also appear to be starting to get ready to be pressurized, which we know the magnitude and intensity of earthquakes with continuous time these next few hours

New island off Japan keeps growing and growing

http://www.foxnews.com/science/2013/12/19/new-images-japans-bouncin...

A volcanic eruption 600 miles south of Tokyo has created a new island, a 14-acre mass along the western edge of the “Ring of Fire” in the South Pacific. And far from sinking back into the sea, this bundle of joy looks like its here to stay.

The island is named Niijima and sits off the coast of Nishino-shima, a small, uninhabited island in the "Ring of Fire" chain of volcanoes in the western Pacific. It first appeared in late November, when heavy black smoke, ash and rocks exploded from the seas and steam poured forth from the eruption.

New images released by NASA show that the island looks likely to stay, unlike past tiny bits of territory that have appeared and later disappeared, according to Yoshihide Suga, Japan's chief government spokesman.

Oklahoma Adopts California-Style Quake Insurance (Dec 19)
It's become a predictable routine at Matt Pryor's insurance agency: An earthquake rumbles through Oklahoma, rattling dishes and nerves. Then the phones light up with calls and text messages from desperate residents asking if it's too late to buy a policy to cover any damage.

Pryor has witnessed a rapid change in thinking.

"It used to be, 'Do I need earthquake coverage?' Now it's changed to, 'How much insurance do I need?'"

From 1975 to 2008, only a handful of magnitude-3.0 earthquakes or greater occurred yearly in Oklahoma. But the average grew to around 40 annual earthquakes from 2009 to 2013.

Since 2009, more than 200 magnitude-3.0 or greater earthquakes have hit the state's midsection, according to the Geological Survey. Many have been centered near Oklahoma City, the most populous part of the state.

Scientists are not sure why seismic activity has spiked, but they are studying the phenomenon.

Oklahoma's strongest recorded earthquake was a 5.6-magnitude surprise that struck in November 2011 near the town of Prague. It damaged 200 buildings, shook a football stadium and rattled parts of seven states. On Dec. 7, a magnitude-4.5 earthquake in central Oklahoma shook residents.

A new study by the U.S. Geological Survey suggests the earthquakes are here to stay.

The Geological Survey report stirred up so much concern that the Oklahoma insurance commissioner urged residents to buy earthquake policies, and emergency management officials have reviewed earthquake-safety manuals used in California.

When the quakes happen, the movement feels like somebody's running through Bert Bennett's house, "shaking all the furniture." The vibrating cracks Joe and Mary Reneau's brick chimney and pulls their kitchen cabinets away from the wall. Mark Treat's dishes, drawers and bed start to rattle, and the floor feels like it's "coming alive."

Then there's the sound. Pam Ousley compares it to a sonic boom or some kind of explosion. Bill Hediger says the din is like a "jet engine that rumbles."

"It's kind of scary and you just hope it quits," said Hediger, whose current earthquake-safety plan entails bolting from his Edmond home and running out into the street. "Makes you wonder if I should move away."

Oklahoma officials are recommending a website designed for California residents that offers tips on earthquake preparedness, like anchoring bookshelves to walls and stringing wire across the books to prevent them from toppling onto anyone.

The site, www.earthquakecountry.info, is now being consulted in mid-America, said Austin Holland, a seismologist with the Oklahoma Geological Survey.
