Spain Experiences its Worst Train Accident in 40 Years

An increase in train derailments was one of the first symptoms of the approach of Planet X to become noticeable, being expressed even before Planet X entered the inner solar system in 2003.

Planet X was described as affecting the Earth from afar, like tugging on the edge of a spider web where the effects are felt elsewhere on the web; in this way there has been an increase in earthquakes and unpredictable weather going back years, even before Planet X entered the solar system, due to the increased swirling of the Earth’s core.

It is therefore logical that an increase in train derailments would accompany any increase in seismic activity – train tracks need to be straight and even the slightest shift to the side of a section of track would cause a train to derail.

The area most affected by train derailments is the stretch zone.  Stretch zone quakes are silent, and people are generally unaware anything is happening, although signs such as booms and trumpet sounds can occur.

This zone stretches from Western Europe across the Eurasian Plate, and also includes the South-East United States, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Red Sea and the African Rift.

In other parts of the world, shifting ground is more associated with earthquakes that people are aware of, such as the Pacific which is compressing, so authorities inspect railway tracks after any seismic activity, reducing the likelihood of accidents.

Five killed, dozens injured when tram derails in Brazil

28 August 2011

RIO DE JANEIRO (BNO NEWS) -- At least five people were killed on Saturday and 54 others were wounded when a tram derailed in the Santa Teresa neighborhood of the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro, officials confirmed on Sunday.

Fabio Couri, the commander of the district fire department, said four people died at the scene of the accident, including the driver. One of the passengers who were seriously injured later succumbed to injuries at an area hospital, raising the total death toll to five.

Health officials said among the injured are five tourists, including three French, one Portuguese and one British citizen. At least eight patients have undergone orthopedic surgeries due to several fractures, the officials added.

Rio's Secretary of Transportation, Julio Lopes, visited the scene of the accident, which he said could hurt tourism in the city. Lopes said the tram service in the district will be suspended until the cause of the accident is determined.

According to a preliminary investigation, poor maintenance and overloading may have caused the derailment. At the time of the accident, the tram was carrying 62 passengers while the maximum allowed is 40.

On Sunday afternoon, residents of Santa Teresa demonstrated near the crash site while flowers were left to mourn the victims. Sunday's accident is not the country's first tram accident this year. In June, a French tourist died after falling from a tram as it was crossing a bridge.

BNSF train derails at Havre, Mont.

Published 09:25 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2011

HAVRE, Mont. (AP) — A 93-car freight train en route from Spokane to Minneapolis has derailed on Montana's heaviest used rail line, injuring two crew members and leaving several cars and locomotives piled on their sides along the tracks.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe spokesman Gus Melonas says the cause of the derailment Sunday afternoon at Havre is under investigation. He says one crew member suffered a shoulder injury and another was taken to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

The accident derailed the three locomotives and the first 23 cars of the train. Melonas says 1,500 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from one of the locomotives, but the spilling had stopped and there was no expected environmental threat.

He says beans and lumber also spilled from the train cars will be cleaned up over the next week.
